Happy days here on the homestead!
In our last video, Pinkie-Pepper claimed that she thought Zinnia would be calving very soon. Two hours later, the hoof of her calf was already sticking out, and we were in active labor. Thankfully our homestead milk cow is super chill and of an impressively calm demeanor. In this video, we film the birthing process, and hope you appreciate how incredible it all is. We are so excited to have our first bull ever born on our homestead. Enjoy the show!

My grandparents had a country house and as a child I spent vacations there, I saw several calf births and it was impressive, some were difficult, but my uncles always did what they could to save the cows and their calves.
