Jack no siempre fue el tipo alegre que conocemos hoy, te cuento la historia de este artista que tuvo una infancia difícil y gracias a la música logró superar tantas heridas emocionales.

El pequeño Jack es hijo de padres religiosos que desde muy temprana edad le inculcaron creencias y doctrinas difíciles de entender para un niño. Jack no podía jugar con los otros niños porque, según sus padres, estaban contaminados y era mejor evitar tener cierta confianza con ellos, solo debía ser amable sin llegar a tener alguna relación de amistad o confianza. Si descubrían que Jack tenía un amigo externo a la fe era severamente castigado, hablamos de castigos físicos y psicológicos, el pobre Jack siendo un niño evitaba tener amigos. Solo se relacionaba con los niños de la "fe" y la manera de jugar e interactuar entre ellos era poco natural, forzada por los padres, con un conjunto de normas y cosas que restaban toda la diversión y el juego, un formalismo insano para esas pobres criaturas.

Jack was not always the cheerful guy we know today, I tell you the story of this artist who had a difficult childhood and thanks to music managed to overcome so many emotional wounds.

Little Jack is the son of religious parents who from a very early age instilled in him beliefs and doctrines that were difficult for a child to understand. Jack could not play with the other children because, according to his parents, they were contaminated and it was better to avoid having any trust with them, he should only be friendly without having any relationship of friendship or trust. If they discovered that Jack had a friend outside the faith he was severely punished, we are talking about physical and psychological punishments, poor Jack being a child avoided having friends. He only interacted with the children of the “faith” and the way they played and interacted with each other was unnatural, forced by the parents, with a set of rules and things that took away all the fun and play, an unhealthy formalism for those poor creatures.
Así fue creciendo Jack, en un hogar supuestamente religioso, sin amigos, deprimido, de poco hablar, solo la música lo hacia transportar a un lugar mágico en su mente donde tenía la libertad de compartir con tantos como quisiera y de la manera que quisiera. Lamentablemente los padres tampoco estaban de acuerdo con la música, ya que una cosa lleva a la otra, y la música solo le traería perdición a su adolescente niño. Mientras tanto Jack seguía escuchando en secreto Pink Floyd, Radiohead, y otras bandas similares.
Ya con unos 15 años de edad, Jack pensaba en el suicidio como una opción, no tenía felicidad en su vida, salvo la música. Entendió que la llamada religión de sus padres era una secta bastante agresiva y que su vida no tenía ningún sentido, las oportunidades de salir esa situación eran nulas, decidió dejar el hogar y vivir en la calle, los padres lo dieron por muerto, una vergüenza total para ellos y siguieron su vida como si nada.
Jack no paso mucho tiempo en situación de calle, pues el Dios real no sectario le abrió caminos en los lugares más oscuros y lo protegió de cosas horribles que se viven en la selva de cemento.

So Jack was growing up, in a supposedly religious home, friendless, depressed, not very talkative, only music transported him to a magical place in his mind where he had the freedom to share with as many people as he wanted and in any way he wanted. Unfortunately the parents didn't agree with the music either, as one thing leads to another, and music would only bring doom to their teenage boy. Meanwhile Jack kept secretly listening to Pink Floyd, Radiohead, and other similar bands.
Already about 15 years old, Jack was thinking about suicide as an option, he had no happiness in his life, except music. He understood that the so-called religion of his parents was a very aggressive sect and that his life had no sense, the chances of leaving that situation were null, he decided to leave home and live on the street, his parents gave him up for dead, a total shame for them and continued his life as if nothing.
Jack did not spend much time in a street situation, because the real, non-sectarian God opened paths for him in the darkest places and protected him from the horrible things that happen in the concrete jungle.
Estuvo en un refugio donde fue atendido psicológicamente, aunque también predicaban y practicaban la fe, lo hacían de una manera más pacífica y respetaban el carácter de cada individuo sin imponer doctrinas ni normas. Fue en ese lugar, en ese pequeño refugio, lleno de pequeños niños, adolescentes, adultos y ancianos, donde pudo tener grandes amigos, fue allí donde no solo escuchaba la música sino que también la producía con los diferentes instrumentos en la sala de música del lugar para que cualquiera la practique.
Jack se tomó muy en serio lo de la música, porque sentía que de alguna manera el valor que necesitaba para salir de su situación se lo aportó la música y él quería ser parte de ese grupo de personas que ayudan a los demás a superar obstáculos inspirándolos con su música.
El talento del joven Jack no se podía ocultar y poco a poco con su presencia en varios concursos de talentos su nombre empezó a sonar en la ciudad. Hoy vemos a un Jack con muchos premios nacionales e internacionales, un músico que toca varios instrumentos aunque se siente más cómodo con el piano o teclado. Todos dicen que su música es realmente inspiradora a cosas positivas.
A pesar de que Jack tiene mucho dinero, viste sencillo, vive en un apartamento común y cuando no esta de gira o en prácticas de grabación, esta visitando refugios y ayudando en todo lo posible a dichos establecimientos, esta creando una fundación para aumentar el alcance y poder ayudar no solo a las personas en situación de calle, dice que no es bueno esperar que lleguen a esa situación para ayudarlos, muchos se quitan la vida antes, entonces la idea es ir directamente al problema. Jack también menciona que no le tiene rencor a sus padres y que los perdona a pesar de todo, aunque hoy sus padres siguen negando que es su hijo y no quieren saber de él.
Hay mucho más que contar de este personaje que logró convertir la oscuridad en luz, pero lo abordaremos en otra ocasión, si duda Jack es una persona muy querida.

He was in a shelter where he was cared for psychologically, although they also preached and practiced the faith, they did it in a more peaceful way and respected the character of each individual without imposing doctrines or rules. It was in that place, in that small shelter, full of little children, teenagers, adults and old people, where he was able to have great friends, it was there where he not only listened to music but also produced it with the different instruments in the music room of the place for anyone to practice it.
Jack took music very seriously, because he felt that somehow the courage he needed to get out of his situation was brought to him by music and he wanted to be part of that group of people who help others overcome obstacles by inspiring them with their music.
Young Jack's talent could not be hidden and little by little with his presence in various talent contests his name began to be heard in the city. Today we see a Jack with many national and international awards, a musician who plays several instruments although he feels more comfortable with the piano or keyboard. Everyone says that his music is really inspiring positive things.
Even though Jack has a lot of money, he dresses simple, lives in an ordinary apartment and when he is not on tour or recording practices, he is visiting shelters and helping as much as possible to those establishments, he is creating a foundation to increase the reach and be able to help not only people in street situation, he says that it is not good to wait for them to get to that situation to help them, many take their lives before, so the idea is to go directly to the problem. Jack also mentions that he does not hold a grudge against his parents and that he forgives them in spite of everything, although today his parents still deny that he is their son and do not want to know about him.
There is much more to tell about this character who managed to turn darkness into light, but we will deal with it another time, Jack is undoubtedly a very dear person.
