Season Finale

Though Arsenal have less than a tenth of a chance of winning the league, this has been a really wonderful season of football from them. They've shown incredible maturity and improvement from the side that wilted woefully last season. And with the way they performed this season, they will be expected to compete for the league next season. That's a far cry from the Gunners of yesteryears that celebrated sneaking into the top 4 like they won a trophy.

And, who knows, a miracle of some sort may still have the precious EPL trophy heading to North London. But I won't be hanging my hopes on that. Guardiola's City are the impeccably assembled ruthless winning machine. They'll probably finish West Ham off before the end of the first half.

The Fall Of Fury?
Well, I wasn't expecting that. Or, maybe this time I got so led on by media shenanigans that I uncharacteristically underrated a fearsome competitor. Whatever reason it may be, right now I'm feeling silly for not even giving Oleksandr Usyk a chance of any kind.

I'm not really a boxing fan; the amount of time they spend dancing around the ring while sizing each other up bores me out. The few times I have actually watched were when someone of Nigerian descent is involved in a tough heavyweight clash.

I never really bothered about the sport until when Samuel Peters captured the heavyweight championship. And after collapsing my schedule only to watch Klitschko beat the crap out of him, I stopped watching till AJ showed up at the big stage.

So, for last night's encounter I wasn't overly committed. I wanted to watch because of the hype, but I chose to enjoy some sound sleep over watching two adults trying their possible best to destroy their interior and exterior organs.

And when I woke this morning to the news that Usyk outboxed Fury, it felt unbelievable. I rushed to the SkySports website to read the review and was more confused. The review said that Fury was dominant and beat the shit out of Usyk. However, what I later watched was different. In short, believe British sports media at your own peril.
