I hadn't been to this bakery located in the Parque Aragua Shopping Center in the city of Maracay for maybe 8 years. I used to frequent this place in search of cakes and desserts to satisfy my craving for sugar. I even remember that this bakery had another name, it was the famous "Alpina", an ideal place to meet with our friends, family and fellow students, it was certainly an important reference point since everyone knows about this place. Of course, previously this mall was busier than today, in recent years it has suffered a strong commercial decline but the most important spaces and businesses are still standing.
And well, it turns out that the "Alpina" bakery no longer exists, but in its place is the "TDK" bakery, a place that tries to maintain the tradition of that space with respect to being a meeting point, but more importantly, it tries to sell quality cakes and desserts, is it still like that, well, you will know my impression in the next lines, for now, I will show you how the place looks and much of the products they offer, it is noteworthy that they also sell dry pasta and different savory breads.
As you could see, it is a pleasant space to the eye, the green tones and wooden details generate a lot of warmth and make us feel in a comfortable and familiar space. In addition to the bakery, they also offer coffee and different drinks that fit like a glove when tasting any of the products they sell there. Something that caught my attention was the fact that they use a lot of fruits in the preparation of the different desserts, these generate a feeling of freshness and add a lot of color to the showcase.
In this visit to TDK bakery in which I was accompanied by very dear family members, we ordered a strawberry imperial cake, a lemon pie, a passion fruit pie and a 3 milks cake. I don't know if it is a custom among you, but when we go out in groups we usually order different things with the intention of being able to taste different varieties, in that sense each one shared with the other his cake.

I ordered the lemon pie, but after tasting the other desserts I understood that the passion fruit pie was the best of all, so next time I will definitely go for that one. However, I must say that each one of the desserts was of very good quality, they were correct in sugar and they were also very fresh. So the TDK pastry shop maintains the essence of the quality I remember from the old Alpina, that left me with the positive reflection that there are things that have definitely not changed and that is good to know.

How nice that the essence of the place, even though the signature has changed, is still the same. It reminds me of a pizzeria that I used to go to when I got out late from my English classes, delicious, but when they changed the signature it was no longer the same, thank goodness it's not the case ❤️
Those desserts are a delight, now I feel like eating something sweet 😂 and the decoration is very nice.
Yes, sometimes it happens that when they change ownership or franchise they decrease the quality, luckily that didn't happen with TDK.
I was particularly delighted with the desserts, they were all very good.

What a shame to see the places we frequent are no longer there due to the economic crisis, although it is good to know that the most important businesses are resisting.
