Even anecdotal evidence is evidence. To you it may not count as proof or evidence for anything, but you also think that Bed Rest is "proven and tested treatment" for the flu, and you think that calling something opinion simply makes it so, exactly like you think that claiming that anecdotal evidence isn't evidence or proof for anything is a good claim to stand behind, a thoughtful, considerate and articulate claim.
