“The world is divided into two camps, those who love and build, and those who hate and destroy.” ~Jose Marti, Cuban philosopher and poet.

Without free speech there is no liberty or freedom and perhaps most dangerous of all, no transparency or government accountability. As George Washington so eloquently stated: “If freedom of speech is taken away, then dumb and silent we may be led, like sheep to the slaughter.” Nothing symbolizes the attack on civil rights and civil liberties than the incremental encroachment by the Intelligence community -- FBI, CIA and NSA -- and the burgeoning surveillance state that monitors the population constantly by collecting electronic data.

The story of the surveillance state is a long and complex one that has its roots in the intelligence community going back to the 18th and 19th centuries and beyond. Intelligence had its beginnings in the corporate world and only later became a government spying apparatus. The British East Company was one of the first intelligence operations having its own network of spies and a standing army. This was the basis of the modern intelligence apparatus employed by the Rothschilds during the Napoleonic Wars during which the Rothschilds, because of their intelligence network, were able to gain control of the British central bank, the Bank of England. This video traces how the UK invented the modern intelligence community, MI-5, MI-6 and GCHQ evolving from the corporate sector into government agencies.

It also discloses the partnership between corporations (Big Pharma), the government, and the news media.

The City of London: British Empire II

The City of London, not to be confused with London proper, is approximately one square mile located in London and is a corporate entity shrouded in secrecy. It is a state unto itself managed by a corporation (trust) with a mayor appointed by and answerable only to the Crown. The secrecy is maintained by a system of trusts, a system ingeniously devised by the Knights Templar. The Templars would get sums of money from nobles and knights in exchange for a coded cheque that would allow them to collect some of all of their funds upon reaching their destination -- all for a fee that exempted the Templars from usury laws. The modern trust system operates in much the same way.

Owners of money, property or other assets place it in the hands of trustees essentially building an impenetrable wall that keeps their identities secret. The trustees then manage the assets on behalf of the owners. Although invented by the Templars, the modern trust system was devised by the Rothschilds, the Bank of England and other international bankers operating out of British protectorates such as the Cayman Islands, Jersey, Turks and Caicos, all of which are part of the British Commonwealth. This system of trusts is key not only in maintaining the intelligence community, but is how the elites who created it protect their anonymity while pulling strings from behind the curtain.

When the American colonies secured their independence the handwriting was on the wall -- the British land-based empire was on its last legs. The British Empire began a transition into a financial empire that would control the world through a system of central banks with the City of London and the Bank of England as its hub. As M. A. Rothschild said: “Give me control of a nation’s money supply and I care not who makes its laws.” In the late 19th and early 20th century Rothschild agent Cecil Rhodes put the plan into motion, a plan that would bring America back into the fold. The “Rothschild/City of London plan” along with Tavistock Institute’s cultural network (Royal Institute of International Affairs, Council on Foreign Relations) has made the UK more powerful than the old empire at its peak thanks to the efforts of the Rothschilds, Rockefellers, Edward Bernays, Harvard’s School of Social Relations (CIA) and others.

Echelon, FVEY, and the Birth of the Surveillance State

What is the mindset of a government that views the entire citizenry as a threat that they must keep them under constant surveillance? What do they have to hide? What possible justification is there for collecting every piece of electronic data on every person not only in the US, but abroad including our allies? We spend more time, money and effort surveilling our own people and allies than we do surveilling our enemies. The patented excuse is of course, “national security,” a blanket statement so nebulous it covers everything from the proverbial “soup to nuts.”

This constant collection of intelligence began at the end of WWII, 1946 to be exact, with the establishment of FVEY (Five Eyes) an intel sharing agreement between the US, UK, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand. “Shortly after WWII, five of the world’s major powers – the U.S., U.K., Australia, New Zealand, and Canada – signed onto a joint surveillance program in the aftermath of the Allies cracking the German “Enigma” and Japanese “Purple” codes. Understanding the importance of intercepting and monitoring signals intelligence, or SIGINT, these five countries, known as the Five Eyes, signed onto the UKUSA agreement, which divvied up segments of the world for each country to monitor.”

With “listening posts,” antenna farms at Menwith Hill in the UK and Pine Gap in Australia that are geographically located to provide optimum coverage, all electric communications are intercepted and stored with computers programmed to focus on key words such as “bomb” and other red flags. When this effort known as Eschelon began in the 1980s anyone who spoke out about it was written off as a nut or “conspiracy theorist.” Not only were the conspiracy theorists right, the program grew exponentially over the next several decades.

“Both the Menwith Hill and Pine Gap bases form a special pairing allowing them to tap into extremely low frequencies (ELF) of the electromagnetic spectrum - most specifically 60 Hz, which itself is the main frequency of the US Power Grid system. A very special link between these two sites - unique to the Echelon NSA surveillance program - provides incontrovertible evidence of this; with the very nature of the link hinting at a very special feature of the whole network. One that is highly classified.”

This article provides the geospatial rationale for the positioning of the antennae, one that uses the scientific achievements of Nicola Tesla. Although the article puts the US at the head of the FVEY and Eschelon programs, I find it ironic that all of the other participants are part of the British Commonwealth. FVEY was created in 1946 before the formation of the CIA in 1947 and I have always argued that OSS (a creation of MI-6) and the CIA are adjuncts of the British Secret Services. The UK -- specifically MI-5 (domestic) MI-6 (international), and BCHQ (electronic) -- is and always has been the hub and controlling interest behind the western intelligence communities.

Duncan Campbell, privacy advocate and outspoken critic of the Eschelon program blew the whistle as early as 1988 in an article entitled “Somebody’s Listening”:

“The scale of the operation she described took my breath away (this was 1988, remember). The NSA and its partners had arranged for everything we communicated to be grabbed and potentially analyzed. The program reportedly utilized massive ground-based radio antennas to intercept satellite transmissions containing the digital communications of millions. It then relied on its content-sensitive dictionaries of keywords and phrases to scour the communications for relevant information.”

"It wasn’t until the revelations of Edward Snowden that just how far the surveillance program had progressed. “It is now abundantly clear, thanks to internal documents leaked by Snowden, that the program exists, but what is unclear is what that means. PRISM and XKeyscore certainly represent a more shocking invasion of the information we have digitally presented, but ECHELON shows us that the privacy of our communications have indeed always been under attack.”

PROMIS and PRISM: Stepping up the Surveillance Game

In the early 1980s a new spying software program was invented by a man named William Hamilton who loaned it to the US government in 1982. Predictably it was stolen by the DOJ and wound up in the hands of MI-6/Mossad agent Robert Maxwell, father of Ghislane Maxwell and mentor of Jeffrey Epstein. Before selling it to intelligence agencies around the world a backdoor was implanted into the software by Mossad, another adjunct of MI-6, giving Israel, the US and our FVEY partners access to each country’s most sensitive information. Inslaw sued the US government, but to no avail, after which, “...Inslaw was forced to declare bankruptcy as a result of Meese’s actions and sued the Justice Department. The court later found that the Meese-led department “took, converted, stole” the software through “trickery, fraud and deceit.”

“With Inslaw out of the way, Brian sold the software all over the world. Eitan later recruited Robert Maxwell to become another Promis salesman, which he did remarkably well, even succeeding in selling the software to Soviet intelligence and conspiring with Republican Texas Senator John Tower to have the software adopted by the U.S. government laboratory at Los Alamos. Dozens of countries used the software on their most carefully guarded computer systems, unaware that Mossad now had access to everything Promis touched.”

PROMIS was the precursor to the PRISM/X-Keystroke software exposed by Edward Snowden. Most of us are already familiar with the story of how Edward Snowden brought to light the spying activities of the US intelligence agencies, the CIA and NSA in particular. The many documents that he gathered from U.S. intelligence agencies like the NSA show the depth and breadth of surveillance programs that have been in place since 2007. It also showed the role of corporations, governments of other countries and lawmakers in furthering and legitimizing these surveillance programs. It is critical not to lose sight of the fact that corporations and not just governments play a major role in the surveillance state, just as it’s critical to remember that the UK is the “head of the snake” that is the intelligence community.

PRISM, as Snowden revealed, essentially turned the internet into a data trap with the Silicon Valley corporations being either complicit or coerced into complying. Given that many of the tech and social media giants got their start-up money from agencies such as DARPA (the Pentagon) and In-Q-Tel (CIA) they are most likely willing participants who now compete for lucrative government contracts. It also explains why they are never charged or sanctioned at congressional hearings.

Also complicit is the secretive FISA court who rubber-stamps virtually every government request to invade the privacy of citizens, all in the name of “national security.” In addition to the FISA court’s blanket authorization of secret surveillance the Bush and Obama administrations passed the Patriot Act and NDAA (National Defense Authorization Act) to give the intelligence agencies even more sweeping surveillance powers. When people like Julian Assange, Edward Snowden, and Clelsea Manning began to release information disclosing the government’s perfidy they were demonized by the lapdog media and prosecuted under the archaic Espionage Act of 1917. To justify the existence of the surveillance state the truth must first be criminalized. Assange, Snowden and Manning all became victims of the Obama administration’s war on whistleblowers.

The Surveillance Industrial Complex

The surveillance industrial complex is the partnership between government and major corporations both in the tech industry and other data-driven enterprises including Big Pharma and other entities that depend upon access to sensitive data such as health records, DNA profiles, and other personal information such as shopping practices etc.

As I wrote before, many of the tech giants owe their existence to government agencies, perhaps none more so than Facebook that began as Lifelog, a social media site created by DARPA. Ironically the day that Lifelog ended Facebook began… coincidence? Now the surveillance state uses cell phones to track locations and content as they collect every bit of data on every user. Google is also contracted to collect data under the guise of “marketing” and then sell it to anyone willing to pay, including the government. The privacy agreement written by lawyers skilled in obfuscation is a convenient fiction. The intelligence agencies haven’t stopped with data collection, but are now using citizens to spy on one another.

The Rat Squad

Not satisfied with the FVEY intelligence apparatus, data collection by Big Tech and the social media giants, backdoors in computers and  cell phones, and other electronic snooping methods (cameras and closed circuit tv’s), the government is now recruiting a cadre of snitches reminiscent of Nazi Germany or the USSR including encouraging school children to inform on their parents if they have what the surveillance state considers “radical ideas.” These radical ideas include patriotism and questioning any aspect of the official narrative including the Covid narrative and the safety and efficacy of the “vaccines.”

“President Joe Biden’s administration announced their plans to create ways for Americans to report radicalized friends and family to the government, in an effort to fight domestic terrorism. We will work to improve public awareness of federal resources to address concerning or threatening behavior before violence occurs,” the official said.”

“This involves creating contexts in which those who are family members or friends or co-workers know that there are pathways and avenues to raise concerns and seek help for those who they have perceived to be radicalizing and potentially radicalizing towards violence,” the official said… The Biden administration said it would also work with large technology companies on “increased information sharing” to help combat radicalization.”

This is just another government tactic to turn people, including families, against each other -- the old “divide and conquer” strategy. It doesn’t matter if it’s Republicans or Democrats the plan never changes, keep people fighting amongst themselves and nobody pays attention to the real villain -- the surveillance state. “It is just when people are all engaged in snooping on themselves and one another that they become anesthetized to the whole process. As information itself becomes the largest business in the world, data banks know more about individual people than the people do themselves. The more the data banks record about each one of us, the less we exist.” —Marshall McLuhan, From Cliche To Archetype

The surveillance state now expects us to do their job for them -- and many will oblige. Cell phones will play an integral role as entrapment devices as people use their recording capabilities to gather incriminating evidence for Big Brother. And it isn’t just neighbors and family members doing the spying.

“We’re being spied on by a domestic army of government snitches, spies and techno-warriors. This government of Peeping Toms is watching everything we do, reading everything we write, listening to everything we say, and monitoring everything we spend.Beware of what you say, what you read, what you write, where you go, and with whom you communicate, because it is all being recorded, stored, and catalogued, and will be used against you eventually, at a time and place of the government’s choosing.  This far-reaching surveillance has paved the way for an omnipresent, militarized fourth branch of government—the Surveillance State—that came into being without any electoral mandate or constitutional referendum. Even agencies not traditionally associated with the intelligence community are part of the government’s growing network of snitches and spies.”

https://www.globalresearch.ca/make-way-snitch-state-all-seeing-fourth-branch-government/5746775

Virtually everything we say or do is being recorded electronically at some government agency. We live in an environment in which the entire population is under constant surveillance and now the government expects us to turn in our family, friends, and neighbors to perpetuate an “us vs them” environment in which only the government is the victor. We are surveilled by a government that operates in secret. This is why people such as Julian Assange, Edward Snowden, and Chelsea Manning -- all of whom are guilty of nothing more than revealing government corruption and lies -- are such a threat.

There is no longer any such thing as government accountability. The government regards themselves as rulers, not public servants, and we are the ruled. They pass laws that give them more power while stripping us of our constitutional and civil rights. Government as an entity has no conscience, therefore it is up to the people and a free press to act as the government’s conscience.

However, when the press becomes the propaganda arm of government and the government itself only answers to its corporate masters it becomes a tyranny where “the ruled” are constantly surveilled. The government is now hiring tech companies such as Palintir who deal with issues like “pre-crime,” not in an effort to protect citizens but to protect themselves from citizens. When thought crimes become prosecutable we will have crossed a very dangerous line where people can be arrested on whims and the surveillance state will have complete power.

For more background on the City of London and how the trust system and British banking work I suggest this video. It provides some great information on how the UK built and maintains its financial empire.

Some good bedtime reading for me tonight by the looks of this, thanks @richq11. Crazy to watch how accelerated things are becoming and how our relationship with government is undeniably one of abuse and control. Seems insane to think people still uphold any loyalty for politics in this day and age.

Thanks, I kind of cut it off early -- I probably should have made it a two-parter. I encourage everyone to watch the videos they provide excellent background.

I couldn't agree more, how anyone on either end of the political divide can still trust government is beyond me.

Really looking forward to watching the spiders web video. I’ll make sure to leave my thoughts once I get chance to have a read. Good to speak with you again and hope you’re doing well.

The first video is a good lead-up to the spider's web. I'm looking forward to your comments. I started taking stinging nettle for my lungs. They seem a bit clearer but I still feel pretty much the same.

Brilliant article @richq11 and one that makes me want to burn all my devices. Pretty pointless however as there’s just no escaping surveillance unless we get rid of those utilising it. There’s an old Stallone film called “Demolition Man” which was set in the not-to-distant future and I’m quite certain that is a world we’re heading towards. Interesting to read how so much leads back to Britain but I guess it shouldn’t be a surprise due to the nature of our ruling class. I used to know a guy called Gordon Bowden(sadly not with us anymore). Gordon was a great man and an even greater reporter/investigator. He always used to speak about an address in London called Finchley Road and how so much fraudulent activity lead back to there. He had some huge names tied to that address and I imagine there are a few more like it. I’m also guessing this address is in the city of London too. Just in case you’re interested, here are a couple of vids with Gordon explaining a few things…

Thanks, I'm always looking for new information

I have been listening to these three videos. Wow. It is eye opening and it seems that there is no end to the evil in this world. Thanks for sharing my friend.

You're welcome! It's all coming out of one place too.
