Never ceases to amaze me how people think the most obious thing HAS to be the culprit and react accordingly, and in some cases go completely rabid if you dare to suggest any other solution or that there might be another or even multiple other causes.
If you begin with the premises that your opinion is the only correct opinion, and anyone who disagrees is evil by default, disagreement always proves any opponent is evil. No facts or reasoning need be considered. It's comforting to claim you hold the moral high ground regardless of the real terrain, and using feelings as a defense is a lot easier than applying critical thinking.
