Why?

in Reflections27 days ago

Greetings!

Few days Ago I saw a book in hands of my nephew which have Title of "WHY", written by "Tahir Mansoor Farooqi".
I apparently open the first page there were too many topics discussed. I couldn't stop myself from taking photo of Titled Page..

Book have many of "WHY" and the reasons behind them.

In this Post I'll try to write about 10 of them...

  1. Why do we fear death?
  2. Why is sleep important?
  3. Why do dreams come?
  4. Why do birds migrate?
  5. Why do men go bald?
  6. Why does a lizard break its tail?
  7. Why does it not hurt to cut hair or nails?
  8. Why do we sweat?
  9. Why do we yawn?
  10. Why do bats hang upside down?

Let's go behind the reasons of each in separate parts...

Why do we fear Death?

This is really a deep question. We fear death because it's the unknown. It's like this big mystery that we can't solve until it happens. Plus, we love life and all the experiences we have, so the thought of it all ending can be pretty scary.

Why is sleep important?

Sleep is super important because it's like a reset button for our bodies and minds. When we sleep, our bodies repair themselves, our brains process information, and we recharge for the next day. It's like giving yourself a little vacation every night.

Why do dreams come?

Dreams are like movies that our brains create while we sleep. They can be influenced by our thoughts, feelings, and experiences from the day. Sometimes dreams can be really wild and make no sense haha, while other times they can feel super real.

Why do birds migrate?

Birds migrate for various reasons, such as finding better food sources, warmer climates, or suitable breeding grounds. Some birds migrate to avoid harsh winters or to take advantage of seasonal changes in food availability. It's like a big adventure for them, traveling long distances to find the best conditions for survival and reproduction.

Why do men go bald?

Men can go bald due to a combination of genetics, hormones, and age. It's like a natural process where hair follicles become more sensitive to certain hormones, leading to hair thinning and eventually baldness. It's pretty common and nothing to worry about; it's just a part of life for some guys.

Why does a lizard break its tail?

Lizards break their tails as a defense mechanism called autotomy. When a lizard feels threatened, it can voluntarily detach its tail to distract a predator while the lizard escapes. The detached tail will continue to wiggle, drawing the predator's attention away from the lizard. It's like a sneaky escape plan that some lizards have mastered. It's cool, right?

Why does it not hurt to cut hair or nails?

When we cut our hair or nails, it doesn't hurt because hair and nails are made up of dead cells. The living part of hair and nails is underneath the skin, so when we trim them, we're only cutting the dead part. It's like giving them a little trim to keep them neat and tidy without any pain.

Why do we sweat?

We sweat to help to regulate our body temperature. When we get hot, our body produces sweat, which evaporates and cools us down. It's like our body's way of staying cool and maintaining the right temperature. Sweating is a natural process that helps us stay comfortable, especially during physical activity or in hot weather.

Why do we yawn?

We yawn to help our bodies get more oxygen and release carbon dioxide. It's like a big stretch for our lungs and muscles, helping us stay alert and awake. Yawning can also be a sign that our bodies need a little extra oxygen, like a gentle reminder to take a deep breath.

Why do bats hang upside down?

Bats hang upside down because it's more efficient for them. Hanging upside down helps bats take off into flight more easily. Their wings are designed to work best when they drop down from a hanging position. It's like their own special way of getting ready to soar through the night sky.

The main source of this post is the book, while I have also used Snapchat AI and Google to clear some doubts.

The first question is what I relate with the most. Death is bound to happen, why do we still fear the inevitable?

We should stop fearing death... then go for others...

So many whys. 😁
