Saludos y bendiciones mis queridos amigos de @needleworkmonday, una nueva semana comienza, que sea productiva y amena. Este lunes les comparto una más de mis creaciones, estoy feliz de que le hice esta prenda de vestir a mi princesa Ámbar, el jueves pasado ella tuvo una exposición sobre el ballet en su preescolar y por este motivo le estuve haciendo este bonito proyecto.
Los materiales que estuve utilizando fueron tres metros y medio de tela de tutú color rosado, 25 cm de tela de tutú color guayaba escarchado, Medio metro de tela de raso elástica, medio metro de elástica, 5 metros de cinta de 2.5 cm, hilo, aguja, la máquina de coser y muchas ganas de hacer este proyecto para mi princesa.
Para hacer este tutú, estuve viendo varios tututoriales en línea para ver cuál me llamaba la atención, quedará más bonito, más tupido y lindo para mi princesa Ámbar, el que escogí llevaba bastantes capas de tull y vi una idea maravillosa para poder cortarlos y que quedaran todas las capas del mismo tamaño.
Fue de la siguiente forma, corté un un trozo de papel de la medida que quería cada cada tablón, que fueron de 25 cm de largo, al ancho de la tela, doble la tela así como la compré y coloqué encima del papel, luego fui cortando en línea recta, así fui cortando como 12 o 13 capas de tull de 25 cm como ya les dije.
Una vez que corté el tull, corte la tela de raso de 10 cm de ancho y a lo largo de la tela 150 cm.
Luego fui hilvanando a mano cada uno de los 12 trozos de tela, que cada uno tenía 280 cm de largo, imagínense fueron más de 30 metros hilvanando tela, lo fui uniendo uno a uno hasta formar esto que venga acá, que ya se estaba viendo en forma de tutú.
Ahora venía el verdadero desafío, que era colocar todas esas capas de tull encima de una cinta, para que luego se me hiciera más fácil pegarla con la otra capa de tull escarchada, por cierto a esta capa en la parte de abajo le fui cosiendo la cinta a todo lo largo de la tela que era de 280 cm
Después que uní la capa de tela de tull rosada con la capa de tull escarchada a la cinta, fue donde se presentaron los problemas porque empecé a pegar la pretina con la tela de raso y debo decir que aquí cometí un error, No lo cosí al tamaño de su cintura sino al tamaño que traía la la tela de raso que era de 150 cm le bajé un poco sin embargo quedó demasiado ancho, miren cómo hasta me lo puse Y así me quedaba el tutú a mí, jejeje.
A las 3:00 de la mañana el cansancio estaba pegando en mi espalda pero las ganas de terminar el tutú para que mi princesa y se lo pusiera a las 7:00 de la mañana me dieron la fuerza suficiente para continuar.
Cuando fui a doblar la tela de raso para formar la cintura, eso fue un desastre total, la tela se estiro, arrolló, deformó, se me pegó el tull por donde no era, un verdadero desastre, que tuve que descocer a las 3:30 de la mañana y volver a hacer.
Tiempo después con los ojos casi cerrados pude terminar el tutú de mi princesa, quedó muy bonito, la cintura quedó bastante comprimida, porque como les dije era mucha tela.
Después de una hora de sueño me desperté a alistarla para llevarla al preescolar, así de linda se veía mi princesa Ámbar, lista para su exposición, repasamos un rato con la lámina que también le hice, pozo para las fotos como todo una bailarina de Ballet para mostrársela hoy a ustedes aquí en esta bonita comunidad.
Y bueno amigos, esto ha sido todo por hoy, espero que les haya gustado mi proyecto. La camisa que les había hablado de mi princesa Arianna también ya está lista, le quedó preciosa, en estos días se las comparto, que tengan una hermosa semana.
For Amber, a Ballet Tutu

This Monday I share with you one more of my creations, I am happy that I made this garment for my princess Ámbar, last Thursday she had an exhibition about ballet in her preschool and for this reason I was making her this beautiful project.
The materials I was using were three and a half meters of pink tutu fabric, 25 cm of frosted guava colored tutu fabric, half a meter of elastic satin fabric, half a meter of elastic, 5 meters of 2.5 cm ribbon, thread, needle, the sewing machine and a lot of desire to make this project for my princess.
To make this tutu, I was watching several tutorials online to see which one caught my attention, it will be more beautiful, more dense and cute for my princess Amber, the one I chose had many layers of tulle and I saw a wonderful idea to cut them and all the layers were the same size.
It was as follows, I cut a piece of paper of the size I wanted each plank, which were 25 cm long, the width of the fabric, fold the fabric as I bought it and placed it on top of the paper, then I was cutting in a straight line, so I was cutting about 12 or 13 layers of tull of 25 cm as I told you.
Once I cut the tull, I cut the satin fabric 10 cm wide and along the length of the fabric 150 cm.
Then I hand basted each one of the 12 pieces of fabric, each one was 280 cm long, so you can imagine it was more than 30 meters basted fabric, I joined them one by one until I made this tutu shape.
Now came the real challenge, which was to place all those layers of tulle on top of a ribbon, so that later it would be easier to glue it with the other layer of frosted tulle, by the way I sewed the ribbon to the bottom of this layer along the entire length of the fabric, which was 280 cm long.
After I joined the layer of pink tull fabric with the layer of frosted tull to the ribbon, was where the problems arose because I started to glue the waistband with the satin fabric and I must say that here I made a mistake, I did not sew it to the size of her waist but to the size that brought the satin fabric which was 150 cm, I lowered it a little but it was too wide, look how I even put it on and that's how the tutu was for me, hehehehe.
At 3:00 in the morning the tiredness was hitting my back but the desire to finish the tutu for my princess and put it on at 7:00 in the morning gave me enough strength to continue.
When I went to fold the satin fabric to form the waist, it was a total disaster, the fabric stretched, rolled, deformed, the tulle got stuck where it wasn't supposed to be, a real disaster, which I had to undo at 3:30 in the morning and redo.
Some time later with my eyes almost closed I could finish the tutu of my princess, it was very nice, the waist was quite compressed, because as I said it was a lot of fabric.
After an hour of sleep I woke up to get her ready to take her to the preschool, that's how cute my princess Amber looked, ready for her exhibition, we went over it for a while with the picture I also made, well for the pictures as a Ballet dancer to show her today to you here in this beautiful community.
