My friend wanted to give her husband a pair of shorts, he wanted a light color, she bought this fabric in light gray color, ideal for her husband.
It is a size XL, and because of the size of another one she brought, I made this short, which although it looks difficult, I assure you that it is easy to make, taking into account the size, but first, I made the pattern to make sure I could cut the fabric well.
So, placing the recycled paper, then the shorts, I made this pattern, which will also serve me to make others of the same size of different designs, the most important thing is the basic pattern that we seamstresses should always have.

Y comenzar una nueva Semana con nuevos proyectos! aquí cosiendo esta oportunidad un short de caballero, en tela de mono o deportiva. Mi amiga le quiso regalar a su esposo un short, él quería uno de color claro, ella compró esta tela en color gris claro ideal para su esposo.
Es una talla XL, y por la medida de otro que ella trajo le hice, este short, que aunque se vea difícil, les aseguro que es fácil de hacer, tomando en cuenta la medida, pero primero, hice el patrón para asegurarme de poder cortar bien la tela.
Así que colocando el papel reciclado, luego el short de medida fui haciendo este patrón, que además me servirá para realizar otros de la misma talla de diferentes diseño, lo primordial es el patrón básico que debemos tener siempre las costureras.
My materials:
1 meter of monkey fabric.
Elastic for overalls.
Thread, needle, measuring tape, measuring pattern.
Sewing machine.
Mis materiales:
1 metro de tela de mono.
Elástica para monos.
Hilo, aguja, cinta métrica, patrón de medida.

This short is 54 cm long, when placing the fabric that was one meter long, that is 100cm, it is not enough to take out this large size short, the amount of fabric that I had to buy was 1 1/2 meter of fabric, to be able to take out the short very well.
So I had to adjust well and be able to take out each part from the edge of the fabric, because it was really not enough, but I had to take out the back part, then the front part, but I was able to take out all the parts, the waistband, and the two pockets.
Este short mide de largo 54 cm, al colocar la tela que era de un metro de largo, es decir 100cm, no da para sacar este short de talla grande, la cantidad de tela que tenia que comprar era de 1 1/2 metro de tela, para poder sacar el short muy bien.
Así que tuve que ajustar bien y poder sacar cada parte desde el borde de la tela, porque en verdad no daba, pero ir sacando una parte trasera, luego la parte delantera, pero pude sacar todas sus partes, la pretina, y los dos bolsillos.

Le hice a la parte del frente un corte diagonal para colocar los bolsillos asi fui cosiendo cada uno para dejar esta parte lista, luego uní la parte delantera, con la costura del centro.
I also sewed the back part together, and then sewed the front and back together, closing the crotch part, to be able to place the waistband.
I sewed the waistband to the shorts first, leaving the opening to place the elastic, this elastic is the one that has a cord in the middle that makes it easier to adjust every time you wear these shorts.
Asi también uní la parte trasera, para luego coser la parte del frente y trasera juntos, cerrando la parte de la entrepierna. y poder colocar la pretina.
La pretina la cosí primero la short, dejando la abertura para poder colocar la elástica, esta elástica es la que tiene un cordón en el medio que facilita ajustarse cada vez que se ponga este short.
Finally, I overlock the elastic, so that it does not bend with use, and finish by making the hem in a straight seam.
Por ultimo le pase sobre costura a la elástica, para que no se doble por el uso, termino con hacer el ruedo en costura recta.
This design will depend on the taste of each person, you can also make the pockets that are on the outside, or very well on the sides, very well in colors that are fashionable now the combination of two or more colors in these shores.

Este diseño dependerá del gusto de cada quien, también se pueden hacer los bolsillos que queden por fuera, o muy bien a los costados, muy bien en colores que están de moda ahorita la combinación de dos o más colores en estos shores.
Así culmina este otro trabajo de costura, con cliente satisfecho, me contó que a su esposo le encantó como le quedó, además la tela es muy suave, y lo usará no sólo para ir de paseo, sino también par trotar, o cualquier ocasión.

Bueno la costura se va dominando a medida que se hace, vamos viendo cual es la mejor manera de coser cada pieza sin tener muchas complicaciones, aunque a veces habrá detalles mejores que otros, muchas gracias @kattycrochet, feliz día.

STOPQue fino te quedó el short, amiga 😍 Me gusta mucho el color gris y la tela de mono. Los bolsillos ha sido algo que le he huido para coser 🤭 pero me encantan los shorts que llevan bolsillos 💟
Aunque no lo creas esta parte del bolsillo es sencilla, aprendí hacerlos porque mi mamá siempre me enseñó, ella daba clases de costura, y siempre he estado cosiendo desde niña. Anímate se que lo lograras.
