Creo que la vida se trata de dar y recibir, y a veces cuando uno recibe tiene que dar algo en forma de agradecimiento, algo que hago mucho con mi familia es darles algo bonito para que disfruten, pero a veces hago trabajos de costura para ellos que normalmente no haría jajaja, mi hermana me regalo unas remeras hace poco que su jefa le regalo, ambas remeras eran nuevas, pero no eran ni su talle ni su estilo así que me las regalo y en forma de agradecimiento decidí hacer algo por ella.
I think life is about giving and receiving, and sometimes when you receive you have to give something as a thank you, something I do a lot with my family is give them something nice to enjoy, but sometimes I do sewing work for them that normally I wouldn't do it hahaha, my sister gave me some t-shirts recently that her boss gave her, both t-shirts were new, but they weren't her size or her style so she gave them to me and as a way of thanking me I decided to do something for her.
Resulta que tenía una falda de encaje sin terminar, este trabajo lo inicio una vecina que es modista, pero por alguna razón nunca termina sus trabajos y pasa mucho tiempo y los entrega sin finalizar, así que me tocó a mi hacer este cambio y hacerlo, se trata de una falda de encaje en color azul que necesita la cintura.
El encaje no es mi tela favorita y mucho menos este encaje, ya intenté coser para ella una camisa que tuvo un resultado poco agraciado, a mí no me gustó como quedo, pero para nada y colocar el cierre fue una locura, pero acá vamos de nuevo, lo primero que hice fue buscar el hilo del color más parecido que tuviera y por suerte tenía uno que se acercaba bastante.
It turns out that I had an unfinished lace skirt, this work was started by a neighbor who is a seamstress, but for some reason she never finishes her work and spends a lot of time handing it over unfinished, so it was my turn to make this change and do it, It is a blue lace skirt that needs the waist. Lace is not my favorite fabric and much less this lace, I already tried to sew a shirt for her that had an unpleasant result, I didn't like how it turned out, but not at all and putting the closure on was crazy, but here we go Again, the first thing I did was look for the closest colored thread I had and luckily I had one that was pretty close.
Pensé que la idea iba a ser simple, medir el elástico, hacer un canal, pasarlo, sujetarlo y listo, pero la cintura estaba cosida muy rara así que me toco descoser y esta tela es un horror 😱 jajaja así que me tome un buen tiempo descosiendo con paciencia y cuidado, pero me pinche el dedo en el proceso y salió algo mal jaja nada grave ya que la prenda está bien.
I thought the idea was going to be simple, measure the elastic, make a channel, pass it through, fasten it and that's it, but the waist was sewn very strangely so I had to unstitch and this fabric is horrible 😱 hahaha so it took me a while unstitching with patience and care, but I pricked my finger in the process and something went wrong haha nothing serious since the garment is fine.
Termine de descoser toda la prenda y me dispuse a ordenarla y hacer nuevamente el canal correcto para que pase el elástico, creo que lo único que siento que no me favorece es que el elástico es de color blanco y resalta un poco en la tela azul aunque no se ve de forma completa, sé que se puede teñir pero los procesos de teñido y yo no nos llevamos muy bien jaja, nunca puedo hacer que eso dure mucho tiempo en la prenda así que tocara usarlo en este color.
I finished unstitching the entire garment and began to organize it and make the correct channel again for the elastic to pass through. I think the only thing I feel that doesn't suit me is that the elastic is white and stands out a little against the blue fabric, although It can't be seen completely, I know it can be dyed but the dyeing processes and I don't get along very well haha, I can never make that last a long time on the garment so I had to use it in this color.
Tuve que dar unas cuantas costuras sobre el elástico para el sostén y la comodidad, ya que la tela es algo fina no quiero que se estropee en el estiramiento, así que fue un proceso extra que tomo un poco más de tiempo, pero nada que no pudiera solucionar con paciencia.
I had to put a few seams on the elastic for support and comfort, since the fabric is somewhat thin I don't want it to get damaged in the stretch, so it was an extra process that took a little more time, but nothing that I didn't could be solved with patience.
Al final me gusta mucho como se ve, si bien no es mi estilo de prenda es lindo el resultado con el elástico listo, creo que hubiera sido más elegante usar un cierre y un botón detrás, pero esa ya no era mi decisión sino de mi hermana y ella quería algo simple como lo es esta cintura elástica, así que eso es todo en este trabajo.
Devolver favores con algo de trabajo hace que la otra persona entienda que tenemos aprecio y valoramos lo que hizo, de otra forma, yo no hubiera hecho esto nunca, ya que esta tela me dio mala experiencia, pero el trabajo está listo y puedo continuar.

In the end I really like how it looks, although it is not my style of garment, the result is nice with the elastic ready, I think it would have been more elegant to use a zipper and a button at the back, but that was no longer my decision but my sister and she wanted something simple like this elastic waist, so that's it for this job.Returning favors with some work makes the other person understand that we appreciate and value what they did, otherwise I would never have done this, since this fabric gave me a bad experience, but the work is done and I can continue.

Terminar un trabajo de costura que otros ya había empezando, es un reto, pero el resultado quedo muy bueno, feliz día.
si, muchas veces cuando alguien deja algo por la mitad esta mal resuelto, por suerte este no estaba tan mal jaja
Las telas de encaje son muy delicadas y según tengo entendidas hay prensa telas especialmente para coserlas sino se nos complica todo, más no te diste por vencida y lograste stu cometido te felicito por ello.
