Hoy les quiero mostrar los últimos cuadros que he pintado y que forman parte de una serie de cuadros que me gustan mucho, porque a pesar de ser una composición muy sencilla me parece que son muy elegantes y bonitos, para esta oportunidad pinte una serie de tres cuadros pequeños como un tríptico y uno de dimensiones más grandes, pero los tres con la misma combinación de flores. Espero que me acompañen para mostrarles el proceso de estos cuadros y sean de su agrado.

Today I want to show you the last paintings that I have painted and that are part of a series of paintings that I like very much, because despite being a very simple composition I think they are very elegant and beautiful, for this opportunity I painted a series of three small paintings as a triptych and one of larger dimensions, but all three with the same combination of flowers. I hope you join me to show you the process of these paintings and that you like them.
The materials I have used for these paintings have been:
3 Canvas of 60x140cm
1 Canvas of 80x130cm
Acrylic paints, white, yellow, purple, red, blue, blue, black, gold
Various brushes
Los materiales que he usado para estos cuadros han sido:
3 Lienzos de 60x140cm
1 Lienzo de 80x130cm
Pinturas acrílicas, blanca, amarilla, violeta, rojo, azul, negro, dorado
Pinceles varios
Para comenzar a trabajar lo más recomendable es acondicionar muy bien el lugar que se va a disponer para pintar, en mi caso pinto mucho mejor sentada, ya que estar de pie me agota mucho, así que para hacer estos cuadros dispuse un clavo para colgar el lienzo a la altura de mi silla y alrededor situé todas las pinturas pinceles y el agua, luego que mi área de trabajo estuvo lista, me dispuse a realizar la líneas del dibujo a pesar de ser una composición sencilla quería tener muy claro donde estaría el dibujo antes de comenzar a pintar el fondo.
To begin to work the most advisable thing is to condition very well the place that is going to be available to paint, in my case I paint much better seated, since being standing exhausts me a lot, so to make these pictures I arranged a nail to hang the canvas at the height of my chair and around I placed all the paints, brushes and water, after my work area was ready, I set out to make the lines of the drawing despite being a simple composition I wanted to be very clear where the drawing would be before starting to paint the background.
Una vez estuvo listo el boceto de la flor procedí a pintar el fondo, para esto use una paleta para mezclar los tonos que emplearía en el fondo el cual sería un tono sepia, para lograr este color use una mezcla de violeta, amarillo y de a poco fui añadiendo el color blanco para obtener el efecto gradiente de este cuadro.
La textura del fondo debía ser suave y la transición de colores poco marcada, así que para ello tuve que realizar pinceladas rápidas en dirección vertical con un pincel grande y plano, tratando lo mejor posible de mezclar los colores antes que la pintura se sequé
Once the flower sketch was ready I proceeded to paint the background, for this I used a palette to mix the tones that I would use in the background which would be a sepia tone, to achieve this color I used a mixture of violet, yellow and little by little I added the white color to obtain the gradient effect of this painting.
The texture of the background had to be smooth and the transition of colors little marked, so for this I had to make quick brushstrokes in vertical direction with a large flat brush, trying as best as possible to mix the colors before the paint dries.
Como ya tenia el dibujo en el lienzo procuré, pintar sin pasar demasiado el pincel por esa área y conservar las lineas del dibujo, para pintar la flor comencé pintando los pétalos con una capa de pintura blanca que deje secar para luego repasar y agregar los demás colores y darles forma.
Para pintar los pétalos emplee un pincel lengua de gato, este pincel me ayudo darle la forma ovalada al pétalo y a mezclar muy bien los colores, como el amarillo y el violeta
Para el tallo hice una mezcla de amarillo rojo y azul para crear un color marrón, el cual oscurecí un poco con negro. por supuesto todos los detalles de esta flor los fui agregando por capas, hasta lograr el tono y la textura correcta
As I already had the drawing on the canvas, I tried to paint without passing the brush too much in that area and keep the lines of the drawing, to paint the flower I started painting the petals with a layer of white paint that I let dry and then go over and add the other colors and give them shape.
To paint the petals I used a cat's tongue brush, this brush helped me to give the oval shape to the petal and to mix the colors very well, such as yellow and violet.For the stem I made a mixture of yellow red and blue to create a brown color, which I darkened a little with black. Of course all the details of this flower I added them in layers, until I got the right tone and texture.
Una vez que pinte todos los pétalos, procedí a pintar los detalles internos de la flor, unos estambres que sobresalen entre los pétalos y unas pequeñas bolitas de polen esparcidas en el aire, para hacer estas use color blanco, marrón y alguna en dorado.
Este proceso lo repetí tres veces para hacer el tríptico, lo único que cambio en casa una fue la disposición de las flores, y para la ultima que fueron dos en lugar de una flor.
Once I painted all the petals, I proceeded to paint the internal details of the flower, some stamens that protrude between the petals and some small balls of pollen scattered in the air, to make these I used white, brown and some in gold.
I repeated this process three times to make the triptych, the only thing that changed at home was the arrangement of the flowers, and for the last one there were two instead of one flower.
Por ultimo y un detalle que a mi me encanto fue el color de las hojas, para lo cual se empleo una pintura llamada hojilla liquida, la cual deja un acabado muy bonito y metalizado parecido a la pintura en espray, debido a su composición bastante liquida, se decidió por usar cinta de papel para delinear la forma de la hoja y así evitar derrames.
Esto mismo se repitió en los bordes del cuadro, para crear un marco dorado muy elegante, coloque la cinta de papel a una distancia de 1cm del borde y aplique la hojilla con un pincel el cual remojaba constantemente en disolvente para evitar que las cerdas se secaran y endurecieran.
Finally and a detail that I loved was the color of the leaves, for which I used a paint called liquid flake, which leaves a very nice and metallic finish similar to spray paint, due to its composition quite liquid, it was decided to use paper tape to outline the shape of the leaf and avoid spills.
The same was repeated on the edges of the painting, to create a very elegant golden frame, I placed the paper tape at a distance of 1cm from the edge and applied the leaf with a brush which I constantly soaked in solvent to prevent the bristles from drying and hardening.
Para el cuadro de 130x80 cm el procedimiento ha sido el mismo que para estos pequeños aunque batalle mucho mas en el fondo, haciendo pinceladas mas largas y rápidas para crear el degradado de color hacia el centro de la composición.
For the 130x80 cm painting the procedure has been the same as for these small ones, although I worked much harder in the background, making longer and faster brushstrokes to create the color gradient towards the center of the composition.
Y finalmente así lucen los cuadros terminados, todos me gustaron mucho, pero el tríptico mucho mas, siento que es un elemento muy versátil para decorar cualquier espacio, porque cambiando el orden se renueva mucho la composición, espero que también se del agrado de todos ustedes y me digan ¿En que espacio colocarían ustedes estos cuadros?
And finally this is how the finished paintings look like, I really liked them all, but the triptych much more, I feel it is a very versatile element to decorate any space, because changing the order renews the composition, I hope you all like it and tell me in what space would you place these paintings?
