Greeting friends of the @Holozingcommunity, i hope to meet you all doing well today, i ma really glad to be here for the first time as I debut my first share of my fan art of "Grass Racoon" in colour. This character is indeed intriguing for one and the mode of pose really caught my attention,putting thoughts into perspective about meaning of a subject facing sideways in a frame, as it could mean a lot more than meets the eye, i went ahead to detail the sketch with colouring to give life and add a lot more character to the drawing, see the creation process below.

I started off on a blank sketch sheet and a pencil to begin my sketch, refrencing th original art as i progressed with my sketch, this was the easier part of the drawing, although aspects of the art needed a lot more detailing to appear rather acurate.

moving ahead to the render the colouring part of the art, i am using a medium of pencil set and they are of dried texture, this set came in varying colour which would allow me the ability to use related colours, i also included a set of drawing markers, which also come with variety of colour
To begin my render i am starting of with a lemon green pencil shade , starting at the head of "grass racoon", from the refrence photo, the major colour pallette for the character is green which i am going to be using a couple shades of to achieve my exact tone, after he lemon green i proceeded to use a more darker shade of green alternating between this shades on different parts of the body.
i also needed specific colour out of the greens palette to detail some parts which were of different shades.
I had use the pink shade for the inner ears and used a yellow drawing marker for the retina area, and black for the pupil area.
