El domingo pasado, salimos de casa con la idea de aprovechar el buen tiempo para relajarnos un poco, tomar aire de camino al parque, y disfrutar de la hermosa tarde, que nos ofrecía un toque de niebla, con precipitaciones mínimas. Este plan, de repente, dio un giro brutal, porque cuando llegamos a la «Estación», en el sector de eventos, estaban presentando la segunda edición de la «Expo Tattoo 2024» de Avellaneda. Hasta ese momento llegó nuestro tranquilo paseo. Ahora tocaba entrar en el mundo del tatuaje.
Last Sunday, we left home with the idea of taking advantage of the good weather to relax a bit, get some fresh air on the way to the park, and enjoy the beautiful afternoon, which offered us a touch of fog, with minimal rainfall. This plan, suddenly, took a brutal turn, because when we arrived at the “Station”, in the events sector, they were presenting the second edition of “Expo Tattoo 2024” of Avellaneda. Up to that moment came our quiet walk. Now it was time to enter the world of tattooing.
Es por ello, que decidí capturar varias imágenes, para compartirlas en esta, la Comunidad, Tattoo World, nueva para mí, y que cuenta con un gran y proactivo equipo de trabajo para mantenerla 100%, activa. Es una comunidad donde me encanta visualizar los contenidos que publican sus creadores. Mis felicitaciones por ello, y porque sé que vendrán éxitos a granel.
That's why I decided to capture several images, to share them in this, the Community, Tattoo Worldcreated new to me, and that has a great and proactive team to keep it 100% active. It is a community where I love to visualize the contents published by its creators. My congratulations for that, and because I know that successes will come in bulk.
Esta vez pude comparar este evento con el del año pasado y confieso que este fue mucho mejor y más completo. No le faltaba casi nada. Había un público variado, diría yo, jóvenes, adultos, señoras y señores de diferentes edades. Todos enfocados en el evento artístico, algunos comprando material para llevar a sus talleres o tiendas, otros demostrando sus estilos y paletas totalmente diferentes y otros aplicando el tatuaje de sus sueños sobre su humanidad.
This time, I was able to compare this event with last year's and I confess that this one was much better and more complete. It lacked almost nothing. There was a varied public, I would say, young people, adults, ladies and gentlemen of different ages. All focused on the artistic event, some buying material to take to their workshops or stores, others demonstrating their totally different styles and palettes and others applying their dream tattoo on their humanity.
Ambos pabellones estaban llenos de diferentes expositores, escuelas, negocios es, tiendas, y lo más destacable era el tatuaje en vivo, los artistas cogían todo su equipo de trabajo y allí mismo, ejecutaban sus bellas creaciones, sin importar el número de personas a su alrededor.
Both halls were full of different exhibitors, school, business es, stores, and the most remarkable thing was the live tattooing, the artists took all their work equipment and right there, they executed their beautiful creations, regardless of the number of people around them.
Eso fue arte puro, nunca un artista dibuja igual que otro. Asistieron los mejores artistas del tatuaje que viven en Buenos Aires y otras provincias del país, ya que hubo algunos que viajaron desde largas distancias para asistir a esta segunda edición de Expotattoo 2024, que se está convirtiendo en emblemática en el Parque Multipropósito de Avellaneda.
That was pure art, never one artist draws the same as another. The best tattoo artists who live in Buenos Aires and other provinces of the country attended, as there were some who traveled from long distances to attend this second edition of Expotattoo 2024, which is becoming emblematic in the Multipurpose Park Avellaneda.
Me detuve un poco a reflexionar con relación a este tipo de arte corporal. Siempre me he caracterizado por ser una amante de todo lo que tiene que ver con el arte y la cultura del mundo. Aquello que por tradiciones, herencia, estudios, estilo, e infinitas razones, adquiere el ser humano desde su nacimiento y decide transitarlo. En ese camino, tiene la libertad de elegir lo que le gusta para sí y lo que no.
Recuerdo que cuando tuve la oportunidad de ver el primer tatuado en mi vida, fue gracias al personaje de "Popeye el Marino". Me llamó la atención el ancla en su brazo poderoso. Debido a mi corta edad, pensé, que dibujarse algo en el cuerpo, nos hacía más fuertes. Luego y con el tiempo, me reía al notar un tatuaje que se repetía mucho, en los brazos de hombres que ni eran fuertes, ni artistas del cine. Era un corazón atravesado por una flecha, otros decían "Te amo", un cuchillo sangrando, o tal vez la figura de una sirena lo que les hacía similares era su color, todos eran en tinta azul, o verdosa. Ese tipo de tatuajes, también significaban cosas, porque quien los llevaba no había tenido una vida decorosa, o si el tatuaje era un ancla, era de un marinero.
I remember when I had the opportunity to see the first tattoo in my life, it was thanks to the character of “Popeye the Sailor”. The anchor on his powerful arm caught my attention. Due to my young age, I thought that drawing something on our bodies would make us stronger. Later, as time went by, I laughed when I noticed a tattoo that was repeated a lot, on the arms of men who were neither strong nor movie artists. It was a heart pierced by an arrow, others said “I love you”, a bleeding knife, or perhaps the figure of a mermaid, what made them similar, was their color, they were all in blue or greenish ink. These types of tattoos also meant things, because whoever wore them had not had a decent life, or if the tattoo was an anchor, it belonged to a sailor.
En fin, ha pasado el tiempo, y con él la moda. El ser humano van cambiando y superando escollos en la vida, y por ende, los tatuajes. Hoy se han convertido en verdaderas obras de arte y justo en el cuerpo del hombre, que cada día surca su destino de diversas maneras. Entiendo que tienen mucho significado, unos, otros solo son novedosos, otros experimentan, pero siempre existirá una excusa par lucir uno, sea en el espacio del cuerpo que sea.
Anyway, time has passed, and with it fashion. Human beings are changing and overcoming obstacles in life, and so are tattoos. Today they have become true works of art and right on the body of man, who every day furrows his destiny in different ways. I understand that they have a lot of meaning, some, others are just novel, others are experimental, but there will always be an excuse to show off one, no matter where it is on the body.
A mí, siempre me ha gustado disfrutar de la moda porque pertenezco a una generación (que no creo, se repita) muy especial, por la cantidad de eventos que hemos podido experimentar en carne viva, desde el mismo instante en que nacimos. Soy partidaria de la libertad de cada ser humano en cuanto a decidir lo que debe o no, hacer con su cuerpo, siempre que no perjudique al vecino Me gustan los tatuajes por su exceso de belleza en la actualidad, ya que he notado lo que ha avanzado artísticamente, y el trato que se le ha dedicado dentro del ámbiente de las bellas artes.
Felicito a quienes valientemente lo apoyan. Me gustaría que todo profesional del tatuaje lo realizara de forma impecable y prístina, cumpliendo todas las normas sanitarias que el propio hecho exige. También me gustaría advertirles que eviten que su trabajo se vea empañado por otros elementos que a menudo lo perjudican.
I congratulate those who bravely support it. I would like that every tattoo professional performs it in an impeccable and pristine way, complying with all the sanitary norms that the fact itself demands. I would also like to warn them to prevent their work from being tarnished by other elements that often harm them.
En la imagen anterior, se observan, tres mesas, donde están desarrollando todas sus destrezas artísticas, los afamados tatuadores que estuvieron presente en este evento, que recibió a tanta gente. Las dos salas estaban llenas de personas en filas para poder hacerse un tatuaje así fuera muy pequeño.
In the image above, you can see three tables, where the famous tattoo artists who were present at this event, which received so many people, are developing all their artistic skills. The two halls were full of people lined up to get a tattoo, even a very small one.
Aquí otro grupo de artistas, y en el mostrador, exponían algunos modelos para que los eligieran los clientes que les visitaban. Las fotografías no eran tan nítidas, porque cada espacio debía tener buena luz para ver mejor los detalles de sus obras.
Here another group of artists, and at the counter, exhibited some models to be chosen by the clients who visit them. The photographs were not so sharp, because each space had to have good light to better see the details of their work.
Espero que les haya gustado este breve recorrido por el mundo del tatuaje en la «Expo-Tattoo 2024 de Avellaneda». Solo me faltó este detalle: La sala de charlas y conferencias, se llenaría luego, porque dictarían un taller con varias técnicas, y una modelo para explicar el procedimiento. Así que me encantó mi encuentro con el tatuaje.
I hope you liked this short tour through the tattoo world at the “Expo-Tattoo 2024 in Avellaneda”. I only missed this detail: The room for talks and conferences, would be filled later, because they would dictate a workshop with several techniques, and a model to explain the procedure. So, I loved my encounter with tattooing.

A veces, cuando salimos sin expectativas, nos llevamos gratas sorpresas como la suya. Cada día hacen más exposiciones de tatuaje en todo el mundo. Hace poco me enteré de una que hubo en el estado por otra publicación, me la perdí en vivo, pero gracias al ese post me enteré de cómo hoy usted nos muestra esta exposición.

Sometimes, when we go out without expectations, we get pleasant surprises like yours. Every day there are more and more tattoo exhibitions all over the world. I recently found out about one that was in the state through another publication, I missed it live, but thanks to that post I found out how today you are showing us this exhibition.

Impresionada con los trabajos que estaban haciendo en vivo y directo. No es fácil eso. Este año la vi con mucha más vida, había más tatuadores, en ambos galpones estaban trabajando full. Y además iban a realizar una especie de seminario al respecto con modelos en vivo. Así que me pareció de un nivel superior con relación a la primera expo. Un saludo y mis cariños, amiga.😍🤗
