This is a tournament Diamond match. The game has the following rule sets: Born Again, Stampede, and Tis But Scratches. I went with Akane and placed Cruel Sethropod in front. I put the Fiend next and Naga Assassin in the third slot. I placed Doctor Blight in the back, Vruz next to it to take any Sneak attacks and Venka is the other one that benefits from Martyr. I'm hoping for a quick win with Venka in the Stampede rule set. They went with a more affordable team with Kelya, Xenith Monk, Tide Biter, Pelacor Bandit, Uraeus, Doctor Blight, and Igor.
Since this is a tournament game, I gave the Ambush without seeing the opposing team. If it were ranked, I would have given Ambush to Naga and Venk instead of Doctor and Venka. I killed the Monk in the Ambush phase with Doctor Blight and it got resurrected. In round 1, there were a few attacks, the Bandit killed my Vruz and Venka attacked killing every single monster on the field. The monk died for good, the rest for Resurrected. It's always fun to see all the monsters getting killed so quickly! Doctor Blight took out Tide Biter before the round ended. In the next one, it was Venka doing it again and winning the game.
