Talking about this fantastic game known as Splinterlands is nice. There is a lot to learn and explore within the game ecosystem. In the beginning, playing battle is not easy but when you give it some time then you learn it well. I followed my gaming journey on this game and it took me some time to learn and understand but after six months I was in a better position. Learning is important in every project and this is why I say that spending time on the game for learning is the first stage.
Now that this project has been completed six years so I congratulate the entire team for this bigger milestone and I hope that the game will grow even more. If you are a new player in the game then I highly recommend you spend some time learning. Investment for the money is also a necessity but before that investment of time is the primary requirement.
My Splinterlands Journey and Investing
When I started this game in year 2010 hat time the value of cards was not so high. It was superb in 2021 after the SPS launch. This was the time when the card prices went up by 10X. What a fantastic growth it was and to be honest I never expected that. Because of this nice growth and SPS price, this was an even-popular game. I have invested a good amount in cards and most of my investment is done in Chaos Legion cards edition. This was a popular edition of the game after the launch but now its value is very low. I have most of the cards from this edition in my cards that are needed for better gaming.
The recent edition or we can call it the latest edition in the game is called Rebellion and this is especially dedicated to the players in the game. I own land but I don't use it much because of the limited resources available in my account. The land is a very big part of the game and as far as I understand then it requires so many resources to enable land farming in the game and this is why I could not do it much. Maybe the in future, I can do this but reveal cards are not used in the game, especially in the land parts of the game. I can say that currently, my asset holding is not enough to participate in land farming.
Future Strategy
By strategy for this game in the future will remain the same and I'll continue to play and also continue to invest in different assets. Even though some things are not going well again it's fine because I believe it is part and parcel of life so things is always room for improvement. I have already invested a lot in different cards and different assets in the game including tokens and my strategy will remain the same in the future. I'm expecting that gaming will be an even bigger segment in the market in the next bull run so I am getting ready for that situation and hopefully it goes as per the plan.
Advice to Beginners
This game is great for expert players and also for new players but for new people, it requires some time to go through. I mean to say if you are new to the game then try to learn more about the game and also get familiar with the overall ecosystem. Because it is a plate word game we have the option to earn tokens and different assets and we must learn and understand the use case and utility for tokens. Multiple tokens are part of the game but they have different use cases so we need to know this part. Assets are also important including the cards and different ones so that is another segment which we need to get familiar with. You can explore the rental market for any cards that you want if in case you're not able to buy them because with rental also you can play the same at a lower cost. Try it when you feel like but in the meantime, you can continue to play the game by taking cards from the rental market.
Needless to say this is a fantastic game and the completion of six years itself is a big achievement for the entire project. I hope that for many more years, we all witness together on this project and it continues to grow with each passing year. It feels like yesterday when I started my gaming journey on this project but the truth is that it has been four years for me while the project is six years old now and in the next four years it will be a decade. Let's continue to do whatever we have been doing since the beginning and I hope that the game will also continue to grow in terms of innovations and engagement for the community.
