Espero se encuentren muy bien el día de hoy, nuevamente les comparto el proceso de mi último dibujo el cual está inspirado en una escena de la serie de HBO succession la cual es con el personaje de shiv y su esposo luego de que ella se da cuenta de su esposo está trabajando muy cerca de su padre el dueño de una compañía multimillonaria. Es una escena que tiene similitud con otra que sale en la intro de la serie mostrando como su historia se vuelve a repetir primero con su padre y ahora con su esposo, un episodio completamente impactante e increíble y el cual me llenó de inspiración para realizarle un dibujo. I hope you are doing well today, again I share with you the process of my last drawing which is inspired by a scene from the HBO series succession which is with the character of shiv and her husband after she realizes that her husband is working very close to her father who owns a multimillionaire company. It is a scene that has similarity with another one that comes out in the intro of the series showing how her story repeats itself first with her father and now with her husband, a completely shocking and incredible episode and which filled me with inspiration to make a drawing of it. - Lo que utilice para realizar el dibujo en tradicional en una hoja tipo cartulina tamaño 35 x 28 cm, un lápiz de grafito 2 HB y un borrador (corté mi borrador haciendo que las esquinas quedarán en punta así será más fácil borrar espacios pequeños), mis colores y un corrector líquido blanco.
- What I used to make the drawing in traditional on a cardboard type sheet size 35 x 28 cm, a graphite pencil 2 HB and an eraser (I cut my eraser making the corners to be pointed so it will be easier to erase small spaces), my colors and a liquid paper (correction pen).
Comencé realizando el boceto de la escena tomando de referencia una imagen del momento justo en donde ella entiende toda la situación y cambia su rostro, este lo hice con lápiz y luego borre las líneas de grafito para evitar mancharlo cuando use los colores. Comencé a pintar el rostro de ella primero pintando las zonas más oscuras de su rostro con marcador negro y luego emparejando con el color negro, para darle una transición use marrón y luego continúe pintando ahora la piel, mezclando colores como amarillo pálido, marrón claro y color durazno para poder hacer el tono de su piel en esa escena, pinte sus cejas con marrón claro y amarillo claro, sus labios con color rojo ladrillo y rosado, delinee sus ojos, la línea de sus labios y su nariz con color negro. Comencé a pintar el cabello mezclando varios tonos de amarillo y marrón para hacer un tono rubio cobrizo.
I started making the sketch of the scene taking as a reference an image of the right moment where she understands the whole situation and changes her face, I did it with pencil and then I erased the graphite lines to avoid staining it when I used the colors. I started to paint her face first painting the darker areas of her face with black marker and then matching it with black color, to give it a transition I used brown and then continue painting now the skin, mixing colors like pale yellow, light brown and peach color to make the tone of her skin in that scene, I painted her eyebrows with light brown and light yellow, her lips with brick red and pink color, I outlined her eyes, her lip line and her nose with black color. I started to paint her hair mixing various shades of yellow and brown to make a coppery blonde tone.
Continué pintando la piel de su cuello, hombros y el centro de su vestido y luego comencé a pintar la piel de el usando el misma mezcla de colores que con ella, pinte sus manos y su cuello. Continue then painting his face, again using the same color mix for the skin tone but now using gray color to shade the beard area and I added more brown and black color to not complete his face.
Este es el resultado del dibujo, termine de darle los últimos detalles agregando sombreados en algunas zonas y pintando el vestido de ella el cual tenía un estampado de flores azules y rosadas, luego para terminar use el corrector líquido blanco para hacer los brillos en los ojos de ella, en su nariz y labios, y para agregar algunos detalles de brillo en el también. Me gustó mucho esta escena porque, al igual que en la escena de la intro de la serie, no muestran completamente la cara de la persona detrás de ella sino que muestran solo la expresión que tiene ella en ese momento y me encantó como los directores y productores de la serie tomarán ese pequeño detalle y lo replicarán en uno de los episodios. Me gustó mucho el dibujo y me gustó el proceso de hacer la piel de oscuro a claro porque así siento que le doy un dominio más controlado a la hora de ir construyendo los tonos. Espero poder hacer más dibujo de esta serie ya que me encantó mucho la misma. ❤️
This is the result of the drawing, I finished the last details by adding shading in some areas and painting her dress which had a blue and pink flower pattern, then to finish I used the white liquid concealer to make the glitter in her eyes, on her nose and lips, and to add some glitter details on him as well. I really liked this scene because, just like in the intro scene of the series, they don't show completely the face of the person behind her but they show only the expression she has at that moment and I loved how the directors and producers of the series will take that little detail and replicate it in one of the episodes. I really liked the drawing and I liked the process of making the skin from dark to light because that way I feel like I give it a more controlled command when building up the tones. I hope to be able to do more drawing of this series as I really loved the series. ❤️
