I've had quite a few people reach out to me on discord to update votefun(https://github.com/Rishi556/Votefun) to work with hive as well. The changes weren't much, but I have made them so people can just pull from Github instead of having to reach out to me on how to update it.
I originally had a lot more planned for Votefun, but never got around to it, but I'll be making upgrades to it now. First of all, I'll start by rewriting it from scratch. While it does work right now, its a mess.
I'll also be providing updates on hive about my work. If you do have problems with Votefun, just reach out to me either on discord(Rishi556#2341) or right here on hive on the comments.
Votefun uses both dsteem and steemjs as of now, and I want to consolidate that all to steemjs(or hivejs now). While everything does work like it should, its also a mess to work with and add new features onto.
What is votefun?
Votefun is a little discord bot I made that allows users to vote for posts right from discord. Its highly customizable right from the config file to let you set it up to your standards.
How can I set it up?
Its very easy. Clone https://github.com/Rishi556/Votefun. Edit config-example.json to your liking(instructions on the readme in github) and rename it to config.json. Install Node.JS and NPM onto your server and you can follow the rest of the instructions in the readme. I'll write up a post that shows how to do it on a fresh server soon.
