We often have doubts about how we can help someone who is going through a difficult time or who has a very strong feeling of sadness within them. We imagine that we should ask her out, give her a gift, do something incredible that will overcome this complicated moment. I'm much more simplistic, that just our presence for that person can start a healing process for them.
Too simple, you might be thinking, how could the mere presence of a friend or family member help someone who is in a situation of messy and complicated feelings? In my reflections, I think that this is due to the importance of the connection of emotions and feelings that these two people share, meaning that in these complicated moments, the simple presence of someone who loves us and knows how to understand us, becomes the comfort and strength that we need.
With this, I affirm that the act of loving and caring for another person goes beyond acts of extravagance or gifts, as said at the beginning of this text. Doing something incredible to make someone better is welcome, but I believe we don't want to buy that person's joy, but rather understand that their pain is something they really want to feel and share with someone who understands, sometimes pretending that there is nothing there is worse than simply letting it all out, I think that this purge is the best medicine in given situations.
UnsplashThe ability to be physically present, in such a hurried world, where the internet and cell phones bring the distant closer and the near distant, is the greatest proof of love and affection for a person. In a genuine and true way, when we are present there demonstrating our feelings and that we are with that person in the good and bad moments of their life, it is the confirmation they need that they can count on us, without luxury, without expensive gifts, without extravagance, we are just there to listen to her or even less, just watch her express everything that left her in this moment of sadness.
This true presence is nothing more than the powerful reminder that in this complicated and complex life, we are not alone and we should not have this thought of loneliness, this is dangerous, so when we can demonstrate that we are someone who cares deeply about another someone, we can gain the emotional comfort of this person who so needs a single presence: ours. This intimate connection is something that we often can't even explain and can be somewhere between friendship and love, but it truly is truth and trust between the two.
So, being next to a person like this, with whom we share this connection, is a pleasure for our state of mind, which is very happy with this mutual connection, that we are both there in a special and immeasurable space, just to them, which gradually transforms the bad moment into something calmer, which comforts and becomes cozy. When there is this loyalty of feeling and kindness in helping, they complete each other and embrace the heart.

Muitas vezes temos dúvidas de como podemos ajudar alguém que está em um momento complicado ou que está com um sentimento de tristeza muito grande dentro de si. Imaginamos que devamos chamá-la para sair, dar um presente, fazer algo incrível que supere e muito este momento complicado. Sou muito mais simplista, de que apenas a nossa presença para essa pessoa já pode iniciar um processo de cura nela.
Simples até demais você deve estar pensando, como a mera presença de um amigo ou familiar poderia ajudar alguém que está em uma situação de sentimentos bagunçados e complicados? Nas minhas reflexões, penso que isso se deve a importância da conexão de emoções e sentimentos que estas duas pessoas compartilham, fazendo com que nestes momentos complicados, a simples presença desse alguém que nos ama e sabe nos compreender, se torna o conforto e fortaleza que necessitamos.
Com isso, afirmo que o ato de amar e cuidar de outra pessoa vai além dos atos de extravagância ou de presenteio, como dito no começo deste texto. Fazer algo incrível para a pessoa melhorar é bem-vindo, mas acredito que não queremos comprar a alegria dessa pessoa e sim, que entendamos que essa dor dela é algo que ela realmente quer sentir e compartilhar com alguém que a entenda, às vezes, fingir que não tem nada ali é pior do que simplesmente colocar tudo para fora, acho que esse expurgo é o melhor remédio em dadas situações.

De forma genuína e verdadeira, quando estamos ali presentes demonstrando o que sentimentos e que estamos com essa pessoa nos momentos bons e ruins de sua vida, é a confirmação que ela precisa de que pode contar conosco, sem luxo, sem presentes caros, sem extravagâncias, apenas estamos ali para ouvi-la ou até menos, apenas observar ela colocar para fora tudo o que a deixou neste momento de tristeza.
Essa presença verdadeira, nada mais é do que o lembrete poderoso de que nesta vida complicada e complexa, não estamos sozinhos e não devemos ter este pensamento de solidão, isso é perigoso, portanto quando consigamos demostrar que somos o alguém que se importa profundamente com outro alguém, podemos conquistar com isso o conforto emocional desta pessoa que tanto precisa de uma única presença: a nossa. Essa conexão intima, é algo que muitas vezes nem conseguimos explicar e pode ficar ali entre amizade a amor, mas, verdadeiramente é verdade e confiança entre ambas.
Então, estar ao lado de uma pessoa assim, com o qual compartilhamos essa conexão é um agrado para o nosso estado de espírito, que se alegra e muito com essa conexão mútua, de que ambos estão ali em um espaço especial e imensurável, apenas para eles, que transforma o momento ruim gradualmente em algo mais calmo, que conforta e se torna aconchegante. Quando existe essa lealdade de sentimento e a bondade em ajudar, elas se completam e abraçam o coração.

Beautiful way of showing that just by being for that person in difficult moments you can help them feel accompanied and understood that is something very valuable and that few people are willing to show 🤗.
Sometimes it doesn't even take much, just being there, a simple action that can make a big difference. In this world where close is so often distant, really being there for someone who needs it is a great demonstration of love and affection.
