Heard a lot of good about this game from people so decided to buy it, first impressions not great as it wouldn't let me play it online. After waiting for a day or two I decided to just give offline a try instead and recorded it.
The nice thing about hardcore in this game was that if you die your character just becomes a non-hardcore character instead of completely being unplayable like in Diablo. So I went with that to see how far I'd get.
Graphic-wise it was quite decent, not as good as diablo and its AI-graphic boosts but the colorfulness gave it a nice touch. I decided to play the Paladin class (or whatever it is called in this game).
Got quite lucky early on to get a legendary mace that had an insane hit effect that burned enemies for a ton of damage, so it felt quite like a piece of cake in the beginning running through enemies without issues, until well, let's not spoil what happened. :D

I bought this game yesterday and played it to level 4 because a friend of mine from way back in the day wanted to play it with me. It's getting way more adoption than expected and the guys who made it are big Diablo fans that wanted to bring the hack-and-slash genre back to its former glory. My friends say that it's good (a lot better than Diablo) but I can't tell yet.
Yeah haven't had a chance to play it much other than this recording yet, seems okay so far.
I have been keeping an eye on this game for a few years now. Waiting for it to get the final polish before trying it... if I start gaming again. Looks so much like Diablo 2 and while I like the permadeath in Diablo 2 I am okay with it becoming non-hardcore also.
Yeah it let's you try hardcore without being too punishing.
That is pretty cool about the Hardcore mode. I still haven't talked myself into ponying up the money for Diablo 4 yet. It's just so expensive. I've been looking into Path of Exile 2, but that is pretty expensive too last I checked.
So this is your next game after Hades. I also have heard a lot of good things about it. I'm not a big fan of grindy games, but my brother really loves them. I hope you get the online play fixed soon.
Looks a little more cinematic in gameplay then diablo did, but in your view is it better then diablo or just a good copy :)
