Testing out the Acolyte this time, wanted to go for a lazy minion build that seemed to work quite well.
This gameplay starts a bit into the story-line as I've already posted Last Epoch twice so didn't wanna bore you with the same content over again. We're trying hardcore mode again now and I figured that going a more passive build may also give me more space to stay alive and well. Hadn't played the Acolyte before so it was all fresh but I like the leveling system in this game so far.
You choose your passives then you start choosing abilities you want to focus on leveling up, the passives can be relearned and only cost a little gold to do so. For the skills, not sure how they work, I think you can unlearn them but it might be that those points go to waste, i.e. you can't take 3 points from a certain skill and place them upon another, you actually have to use them to level them up - kind of like call of duty when you level up weapons based on kills you get- I like that in this game.
Anyway, here's me going through the campaign until something unexpected happened, or maybe it should be expected at this point. :p
I've been trying to decide if I want to get back into the Civilization games. Those were one of my favorites growing up, but after a while they just got too complex. I think II and III were a couple of the best games from that series. I heard they might be coming out with a new Command and Conquer game too which I would definitely be interested in. I still just can't bring myself to spend the money on Diablo IV though. Which this game seems similar to.

Damn the Diablo series has fallen off hard. But at least the devs moved on to other companies to make great rpg games that will carry the torch.

I'm happy that you are really liking the game and trying the different classes. That ending was pretty sad though. Did you get stunned or something?
was trying to read what an ability does and didn't look at what was happening, then pressed q instead of 1 for the potion, lol.
Oh, that sucks. Those mobs just made short work of your HP in that short time.

I love this style of game. Diablo 2 got me started. I only ever play Hardcore.
I've not heard of Last Epoch, but it looks lovely. Path of Exile 2 is on the horizon, and I'll be hitting that hard.
You should definitely try it out, hardcore all the way or nothing. :D
