Golem Overlord is a very simple game (currently in the early stages of development, alpha version) where players battle each other, earning parts (PART) and shards (SHARD).
Both tokens can be bought or sold on hive-engine.com. To get started, buy a subscription for 20 HIVE, which is roughly just under 10 dollars.
When I started playing, I deposited about $15 into the game. At that time, with the value of HIVE at $0.45, I deposited 34 HIVE into the game. Yes, this is a very small amount. This happened on April 13, 2023. As of now, it is April 26. So I have been playing for almost two weeks.
What are my results?

Because if you divide 168.2 by 34, you get about 4.94 (this is an increase of almost 5 times).
In short, my results are modest. It is important to note that I have already made a profit of 5 times my deposit, and I have a working account. It is also important to note that at the moment, the price of the PART token is rising. I entered the game when the price was 1.2 HIVE for 1 PART. Currently, the price is 2.8 HIVE/1 PART.
Thus, the price of the token has increased, new players (as well as their alternate accounts) are actively joining the game, and this contributes to the further growth of the token.
This can be easily seen from the chart of new users (yellow line). Currently, the chart is lagging behind by a few hours, so there is a decrease in the number of active players visible. But by the end of the day, the number of active players will increase, which in turn will create a demand for the PART token.
In the future, there are plans to add some bosses and journeys (what is that? It's not clear at all. And how it will be implemented? Also not clear). Additionally, the use of the SHARD token will be added soon. Perhaps it will be used for crafting? Or maybe for bosses? Who knows.
You can read the project's whitepaper here. I don't want to make any bold statements about how far the project will go. Will it reach the level of Splinterlands or higher? I also don't want to make any predictions about whether it's profitable to invest in the project right now. (Yes, it is, if the price continues to rise and the number of active players also continues to grow).
If you look at the data on the right, you will see that approximately 90% of all PART tokens are burned. Another 5% goes into staking. Thus, the game's tokenomics are designed so that a large portion of PART coins are burned. It's interesting.
I will continue playing. Most likely, by the end of the month, my ROI will be around 10x. (This is not certain)
Depending on the strategy chosen by the developers, the game can be active for some time - several months or even a year or more. It all depends on the activity of the players.
You can also assume that this project will be slightly more than what you can imagine at first glance. And even the most optimistic forecasts will come true. This is a very good project for the upcoming bull run of the cryptocurrency market.
Because against the backdrop of bitcoin's fall, the PART coin has grown in price from 80 cents to a dollar. This is a good indicator of a healthy project. You can continue to monitor the development of the game.
At the top of the game image, you can see Alpha 0.9.41, which means that the game is still in alpha version. This means that the project still has a lot ahead of it and there may be errors, glitches, and so on. But in general, you can already play, as the gameplay is extremely simple.

Can we be sure that the token's growth will continue?
I think so, as long as the user base keeps growing - it's a very realistic scenario. I can even say that by the end of the month, we might see the price of PART at $1.5.
This indicator depends directly on new players who want to jump into the world and immediately upgrade their golem, without spending too much time on development.
