I LOVE THE CUSTOMIZATION IN | Cyberpunk 2077 - Prologue (Gameplay Part 1)

Did anyone ask for a new series of Let's Plays to be shared? I definitely did!

This one, actually, came out a lot earlier than planned, but even if I am a bit late to the party speaking about a game that was released around four years ago already, I still think it's worth being played in 2024 and also shared the walkthrough of, on the internet.

Not only that it might be from time to time different from any other experience of other players playing it because you can make decisions that have a different impact in the game than it turns out for others, but it also comes with a very detailed character customization which I always appreciate in games.

Sadly, I couldn't share too much of the customization part on YouTube, because, well, lots of details on the character, lol, but you can see pretty much how I envisioned V (the main character of the game) in the thumbnail of the video.

I usually try to get the character's look as close to mine as possible since I feel the whole walkthrough a lot closer, but I made an exception here and coloured the hair green which is a colour that I always wanted to test on my hair but never had the courage to do so.

There are 3 styles to pick from: The Nomad - Life Path, The Street Kid - Life Path, and The Corpo - Life Path which even though don't have a huge impact on the whole story, it still counts on the perspective you will have with everything. The Street Kid seemed like the most interesting one for me and that was also my pick.

Even if this is just the first part of the game which is included in the prologue anyway, we are spawned right in the middle of the action, having Pepe ask for help to negotiate with Kirk about a debt Pepe had towards this one. So that's pretty much the whole story for the first episode until meeting Jackie, a big guy who makes you feel like you met the wrong person but it quickly turns out to be V's best friend.

Along with the story which personally caught my interest pretty much, I really love this game from the graphics to the futuristic look and the whole work that was put in which was extended on around 8 years of continuous work!

So in case you are wondering if this is really worth it, I feel it is!

Because it can't turn out bad after so much work. And even if there were quite a few glitches on the release, playing it in 2024 feels like a gem! Very few bugs and minor ones that don't impact the overall gaming experience at all.

More than that, I did develop quite an addiction to playing this so along with the story I ended up doubling my hours spent playing Cyberpunk 2077 by jumped into completing pretty much anything you can do in this game and I can't wait to share it all with you!

I promise many episodes with crazy twists, love stories but also some side quests that I have no clue why they weren't part of the main game but that's a different story to share in a future post.

Anyone curious about how our journey will look like in Cyberpunk 2077? Have you played it already?

I definitely have to give this game another chance, the first and second time it didn't turn out very well due to some bugs, but whenever I see or read any post about it I'm amazed at how good and interesting everything looks. When I tried it a few months ago, I spent most of the time walking around the city and enjoying the scenery.

I also tried it shortly after being released and it was full of bugs so I ended up playing it only in 2024. No regrets tho! Will definitely do it again anytime.

I think these types of customizations are attractive in some points but boring when they are sow deep because you need to spend to much time trying to design a good character and finally use default or is happened to me when I fund with complex customization options.

Without a doubt, C77 has a really good plot development and decision breakpoints you can take. I never played before but I see a lot of gameplays. And the graphics of course look awesome, hope to see more episodes! take care and thanks for share!

I feel you on the part that when there are so many details it might become a bit boring but for me it's always been a guilty pleasure to customize characters in the games I play so that wasn't a problem for me.

That was also a reason why I did not include this in the video as it will cover quite a lot of time!

Yes, because there comes a point that is so much that I never finish xD. I always go more to action. Yes, I imagine, it usually takes a long time. But I don't deny that it's incredible when games allow so much customization. Black Desert is another game that has an extremely extensive customization system, I ended up using a template that I later modified, if one day you try it, you will surely like it.

Oh, I played Black Desert for a while! But the lack of friends to play it with made me stop doing it. Such a great game!

One would think that 4 years is not so long, but the world of video games goes very fast, however I believe that a good game ends up being timeless and valid to enjoy at any time. The main idea, with all the possibilities and changes sounds very attractive, although what impresses me the most is that idea of green hair, it would be great if you did it hahaha it would be great!

I haven’t played this game but it looks so much fun. I love how it is giving some movie vibes. It will make you feel like you’re watching a movie but you’re the one controlling it since it is a game

Oh, keep in mind the movie part and in a few more episodes from now on everything will make a lot more sense to you :)

I agree that it has a lot of possibilities to customize the character but compared to the Cyberpunk theme added to what people expected in my opinion it falls short but I don't doubt that it is very extensive. I recently started playing Baldurs gate 3 with friends and there I noticed the huge amount of customization possibilities for the character that compared to Cyberpunk I feel it is superior.

Haven't played Baldurs Gate 3 yet but I'd definitely be down to customize the character at least, lol! For some reason I've always been in love with this aspect on most of the games I played and looking back to my addiction of playing Sims, as soon as the characters were made, there wasn't too much fun around anymore, lol!
