Who would have thought a person like me would play Baldur’s Gate!

I recently got the game as birthday gift and it took me around 4 days to finish downloading the game. Around where I am living now, there’s no decent cafe with internet speed above 50Mbps. So, it was pain trying to download that much of GB in just a few hours. Either way, I downloaded the game after patiently waiting for almost 4 days and it used up my limited amount of data too. There was a day when I woke up and all of my internet data was gone 🤣

To be fair, I have minus 10000 knowledge on this game mechanic. I normally don’t play this type of game except a few months ago, I tried BDO which somehow was so intriguing but today, after finding out Baldur’s Gate 3, I took that back. I think this is the coolest game I’ve ever played thus far.

With the game that seemingly require decent graphics and whatnots, my MSI laptop fortunately can play it. Well, at least playing on Medium setting was pretty decent and no lags in between. My MSI isn’t a gaming line up, so I was definitely skeptical of it. But I was definitely impressed and amazed when my laptop can play it. Though I ended up using low setting on all graphics/video to make my gaming experience even smoother.

For someone who doesn’t understand the game mechanics, I tried to learn a little of it. There are so much to read haha and I wonder if this playable with joystick because right now, I don’t even bring my gaming keyboards. So, it’s a pain playing it with my laptop keyboard that are pretty small and not-so well-spaced.

I finished the first quest of the game and is looking forward to finishing more. I only pick the easiest level of the game to learn the mechanics. Even then, I think I am starting to get hooked just by the immersive parts of it and how the game has lots of places to explore. It’s also less cluttered than BDO and a lot easier to navigate. I don’t know how hours much typically people spent on this game but I can see myself spending hours on it.

I wonder if I should check walkthrough or not but if you have some tips/post on this game, feel free to drop them. I might check it out to learn something new.

Damn, you downloaded it on your data...ouch. I have heard very positive feviews about this game, seen many posts too... the game looks so nice. It will hardly run on my pc too but I am not in a mood for this big commitment. Don't know how big the actual campaign is but it seems pretty long.

Anyway, good luck to you and your MSI laptop...hehe

hahaha yeah, that was a mistake. The actual campaign seems pretty long and I heard people spent hours in it. For me, I mostly play it on the weekend and trying not to go overboard hehe.

I am also thinking about playing it, even though I am not the biggest fan of single player games. But I heard so much positive feedback about the game.

It's available multiplayer too but these days I am mostly playing single player. It's pretty fun so far.

This video game is fabulous, I have seen many people playing it and they never get bored, it has an incredible story and to top it off, it has thousands of endings, unfortunately the posts I have seen of this game do not explain anything in particular about it, just talk about the story, nothing that could help you in your adventure, but still, I hope you can continue playing this and have fun.

That's true! I was checking some posts and even youtube video, they don't talk about how to actually win the battle. I am gonna write one for all the noobs like me. You know, that would greatly help haha. Thanks for checking out

Wow, seriously, you playing this? So cool... I always watch my husband and my father play this and I think my small brain will not be able to brain this. So yup, I think is super cool and awesome that you can enjoy this game. Yay to you!

Yes, I am playing that hehe. I think the game is fun, I don't know if I can play it with console but it seems like I can. The game has a lot of stuff to read & it's mostly what I am learning how to. Starring at the screen makes my head pound. By the way, you should give it a try!
