Catching spree underway
That Mammorest boss back in the starting area, yeah that one. It was Astegon's turn to have a solid shot at it and with its immense power, well this turns out to be plenty and not even needing a switch out, as it happily got it low enough so then 477 was able to catch it finally!
Things then got a bit toasty back at base as the Ragnahawk was keeping the cooking pot hot and helping the Chikipi to be cooked up.
A good little bunch of the meat was cooked because of those long times spent exploring and getting hungry and as a backup for when the other Pals in the party would be hungry as well.
With all these bigger catches and the amount of hyper spheres starting to be used, another batch had to be created on the assembly line to at least tie 477 over on the chance another really good boss or pal found is to be caught, or at least attempted to be caught.
Good timing on those completing, as a raid of Bushi came charging in with chaos ensuing in the base. You can see Astegon attacking from a mile away with the size of the dark energy beam, one Bushi had gone right for 477 but Astegon quickly changed targeting to help out.
Some lower level bosses were faced which were a level 11 Sweepa and a level 23 Broncherry. The Sweepa was caught but the Broncherry was killed.
What was the next cool part of this trip out was finding the next wildlife sanctuary which it was night time when getting there and a first catch which was easy, was the Elphidran and didn't need to be weakened.. a giga sphere or two was all it took for this one, likely from it being asleep.
The Penking was awake and weakened though just to be safe, but just the normal spheres and a few tries was required to catch it.
Upon exploring around the wildlife sanctuary a bit further and to the other side, it had now become light again and the pals were active once more.
The catching was back underway with some new ones found with Vaelet being the first and this Azurobe was defeated, it was just a catching frenzy and 477 had felt the power of becoming such a huge pal collector growing!
An Eikthyrdeer Terra was quickly caught with the hyper sphere which was nice to not need to fight it, seems like a cool upgraded version of the original as well and more powerful.
Then the next Azurobe was not killed off this time, luckily it didn't need to be weakened so far when you can use one of the many hyper spheres on it as well!
Just a little further away as there were more of both, 477 went and caught a second Eikthyrdeer Terra and Azurobe just because he could while in the area, before quickly checking around once more, seeing nothing else was worth catching there or new and then headed back to the mainland.
Back in the desert after fast traveling to see the merchant to sell some stored items likely to be worth a lot, 7 sapphire and 24 precious pelt fetched a nice price of over 17,000 coins which was a big boost to available funds.
It was time for a new boss to be faced and not one that is low level no, level 38 is a solid strength to face. Wumpo Botan is a funny looking pal that is for sure, it was putting up a really good fight though and the damage output to even Astegon, well it managed to get it down lower to half health and requiring Quivern to be brought out for the last of the fight until 477 managed to successfully catch it for himself.
Tonight is going to be an interesting and very challenging fight as this will be when the next tower boss fight gets underway and who knows just how tough this one will be.. Astegon is definitely going to be helpful and checking that the party is ready before going in is required, ensuring this goes as smoothly as possible.
