I actually downloaded a PDF for walipini design but didn't like the look of their minimum 2m depth. At my current depth of 60cms I am basically digging through rock.
But yes, it's a mini walipini! The compost will be essential during the darkest and coldest weeks with no sun.
My horse friend says I can take his manure any time I like (he's not living is his poop heated caravan this year), so this will be interesting to test as a comparison to green & brown compost.
