Always Something

There's always something happening around these parts it seems. Always a nosy neighbor peering over a fence trying to see what you're up to. Recently been unable to go on a photo walk without someone stopping me asking for their picture to be taken. Decided to lean in to it and so yesterday I headed for the lively stretch of road just up the street.

Always someone out walking the dog. Near as I can tell, the more you try to make something happen the less likely it is to occur. Not a single damn person asked me to take their photo the entire time I was out and about. Can hardly blame them, there was a bit going on.

Always a puzzle to solve. Also, questions. Why doesn't the streetlight work? Where'd all the copper go? Who killed the WiFi? Does that wiring diagram need to be put out of its misery?

Always a slumlord doing slumlord things. Family got evicted earlier this week, now they're trashing and burning their stuff. Can you imagine what it would be like to have the sheriff's department show up, dump all your possessions in the yard and kick you out of your house?

Always some deadicated drivers here. Dedicated to deploying the airbag that is. Happened upon this before the fire department did, made the evening rush hour less rush and more hours.

Always fun when the firefighters get to stand in the sun. Still, somebody's got to stand there so all the rubberneckers know it's Official Business.

Always someone trying to let me know they're my biggest fan. Was mainly aiming for LMPD but I make friends wherever I go it seems. Bless his heart.

Who killed the WiFi?

I heard video got all tangled up with the radio star.

See? Always something...

Damm!! you captured a lot of things going on!!

all of these photos were taken on the same day?? thats a really busy city :l

mine is just soo paceful!

Ha, yeah, there's always something.

Same day, in the span of an hour or two along a little more than a mile long stretch of street. It really is, maybe not to NYC's level of 'volatile proximity' but it stays busy.

If you don't mind my asking, which city are you in? Louisville is many things but I don't think peaceful is one of them. Then again, I wouldn't know what to do with myself if I was.

Thanks for dropping by!

made the evening rush hour less rush and more hours

Weeeee!!!

Heh, that intersection is normally a clusterfuck at rush hour, the accident just multiplied the fun.

It's the same, I have two cats, they are mischievous in the same way as your dog, they run away immediately at any sound, both inside and outside the neighborhood.

That sounds like cats alright!

You captured a lot on this day and your stories are nice although I became sober getting to that spot where sheriff had to kicked someone out of his house and burnt his belongings💔💔.
Thank you very much for sharing 😊❤️

Thank you! It is a rather sobering experience.

You're welcome 🤗

😆

This seems a very busy city and love the energy going on in it.

Ha, yeah, it can be rather busy (and wild). You just never know when and were but there's always something going down :)

I can't say that I am your biggest fan, but I am your fan, it is true.👏👏

Ha, I'm glad, those biggest fans can be a bit much to deal with :)

Wow, incredible captures! 😳😮

Beautiful shots
It looks sunny there but I have a feeling that it is extra hot
Am I right?

It's sunny but we're just getting into spring here so it's not hot...yet. Was actually a bit cool, about 15C.

That is so nice!!! Very natural. Gratz!!

This is beautiful 💟

This is really looking so beautiful. I love the beauty 😍

I think you're the first to describe this neck of the woods as beautiful but it'll take any compliment it can get :)
