Greetings to all my friends in the incredible Black And White community, I wish you a beautiful day.
A couple of days had already passed in which I had not shared street photography with you (as I usually do) and the reason is that I was creating and saving enough material to be able to make a set of photographs where the photos had some correlation between them since I feel that this way the photos get a better context and more visual weight.
I will use these photos as an entry to the #monomad challenge contest.
As you read in the title, today's set of photographs is about street vendors.
For example, these men selling avocados at traffic lights.
In Venezuela, it is very common to see people selling all kinds of things on the streets as a way to survive...
These people were selling frozen raw chicken that they had in that truck. Instead of selling it in a store, they stand on busy streets and sell it at a cheaper price.
A woman selling sweets at the traffic light, even though it was raining she was still there trying to make some money.
A man in the city center adapted his cart to sell various things.
Even some stores, even though they have a lot of space inside, often put some of their products on the sidewalks to attract people's attention!
And to conclude, what caught my attention in the following photo is that this grocery store usually puts a cart outside to sell fruits and vegetables but they also have a sign announcing that they also offer motorcycle taxi service. In short, they do everything, and that speaks volumes about the current Venezuelan spirit, that they do the impossible to survive.
I encourage you to take a moment to appreciate the next street vendor you encounter. They are more than just people selling things; they are symbols of resilience, resourcefulness, and the indomitable human spirit.
I hope you enjoyed this glimpse into the lives of street vendors in Venezuela.

Similarly, even in India, poor people are seen selling things at traffic signals and shopkeepers also display their goods outside on the road so that people can see them clearly. Nice to see this part of your country too! :)
I have noticed many similarities with india an venezuela! interesting to know that too!
