"Creative Self-portraits"... My #143 entry to the #Monomad challenge.

Un par de años atrás mi hija me hizo un regalo, un hermoso cuadro que ella misma pintó...

Estaba en clases de pintura, entonces al enterarse que tenían una exposición de arte, escogió una de las flores que más me gustan, un girasol y lo pintó para mí... Recuerdo que lloré mucho de admiración y ternura cuando lo vi colgado entre tantos cuadros aquel día.

Hoy, mientras lo admiraba nuevamente me llegó una idea de esas locas que se me ocurren a veces y quería al cuadro allí conmigo!

Entonces, arreglé el set para para hacer algunos retratos, a ver si quedaban igual a como se veía en mi mente...

Al empezar a editar las imágenes, me di cuenta no me gustó mucho la composición que armé, no se, aún hay algo que no termina de convencerme, creo que hay mucho ruido detrás, mucha distracción... Pero también tiene algo que me engancha, es ese amor odio del que a veces algunos hablan.

Disfruté mucho hacerme estos retratos en cuanto a la emoción que me da intentar recrear escenas esperando un resultado favorable, pero también fue bastante incómodo a nivel de movilidad, es la primera vez que me agacho al piso desde mi operación y mi movilidad aún es algo limitada... Algunas poses me salían algo rígidas, no podía levantarme con facilidad a mover el trípode, en muchas (casi todas las imágenes) me trunque los pies🙈...

De eso me di cuenta al levantarme del piso, y no me volvería a acostar jajajajaja.

Pero la emoción que intento transmitir me gustó... Es por eso que escogí estás imágenes para mí participación #143 al desafío #Monomad.

A couple of years ago my daughter gave me a gift, a beautiful picture that she painted herself....

She was in painting classes, then when she found out that they had an art exhibition, she chose one of the flowers I like the most, a sunflower, and painted it for me... I remember that I cried a lot of admiration and tenderness when I saw it hanging among so many paintings that day.

Today, while I was admiring it again I had one of those crazy ideas that come to my mind sometimes and I wanted the painting there with me!

So, I arranged the set to make some portraits, to see if they looked the same as they did in my mind...

When I started to edit the images, I realized I didn't really like the composition I put together, I don't know, there's still something that doesn't quite convince me, I think there's a lot of noise behind it, a lot of distraction? But it also has something that hooks me, it's that love hate that sometimes some people talk about.

I really enjoyed taking these portraits in terms of the emotion it gives me to try to recreate scenes hoping for a favorable result, but it was also quite uncomfortable in terms of mobility, it is the first time I get down on the floor since my operation and my mobility is still somewhat limited.... Some poses were a bit stiff, I couldn't get up easily to move the tripod, in many (almost all the images) I truncated my feet🙈....

That's what I realized when I got up from the floor, and I wouldn't lie down again hahahahahaha.

But the emotion I'm trying to convey I liked.... That's why I chose these images for my #143 participation to the #Monomad challenge.
