This is my entry for the #monomad challenge.
I had a couple of months wanting to attend a museum quite characteristic of the place where I live and until recently I had the perfect excuse to do so, they were going to inaugurate some new rooms with new exhibitions, so I decided to attend and take some pictures of the works of art and the inauguration.
Tenía un par de meses queriendo asistir a un museo bastante característico del lugar donde vivo y hasta hace poco tuve la excusa perfecta para hacerlo, iban a inaugurar unas nuevas salas con nuevas exposiciones, por lo que decidí asistir y hacer algunas fotografías de las obras de arte como de la inauguración.
Art is one of the best expressions we humans have, since it is a way of transmitting what we feel in a different way than just talking or communicating with words; it is based more on feeling, showing a different perspective of things and in a more abstract way.
El arte es una de las mejores expresiones que tenemos los humanos, ya que es una forma de transmitir aquello que sentimos de una manera diferente al solo hablar o comunicar con palabras; se basa más en sentir, mostrar una perspectiva distinta de las cosas y de una manera más abstracta.
In these photographs you can see some of the works shown in these exhibitions and also some photographs of the artist responsible for them, who gave a short speech minutes before the inauguration of the room dedicated to his works.
En estas fotografías podrán ver algunas de las obras mostradas en estas exposiciones y también algunas fotografías del artista responsable de ellas, quien dio un pequeño discurso minutos antes de dar inicio a la inauguración de la sala dedicada a sus obras.
