I woke up early today because I have a job interview.
I took the light rail transit to save time, I need to get off at the 6th station, out of a total of 13 stations.
When I got on, it wasn't crowded yet, and beside me was a beautiful mom with her baby who looked about one year old.
After a while, the baby started crying, probably because he was hungry, so the mom covered herself to breastfeed.
However, the baby didn't want to nurse and continued to cry, not loudly, but it seemed like a tantrum.
So the mom said, "Drink your milk because if you don't, I'll give it to the man next to us."
The baby didn't nurse but quieted down a bit.
By the 3rd station, the baby cried again, and the mom tried to breastfeed him again, but the baby still wouldn't nurse, so the mom said, "Drink your milk, if you don't drink, I'll give it to the man next to us."
By the 5th station, they still hadn't gotten off, and the baby cried again. As usual, the mom tried to breastfeed, but the baby really didn't want to. Maybe it was the baby's first time on the train, so he kept crying.
The mom said, "What's the matter? I'll really give this milk to the man next to us if you don't nurse."
I couldn't take it anymore, so I voiced my thoughts since the baby had been crying for a while.
I said, "Ma'am, it looks like your baby doesn't want to breastfeed. You've been saying you'll give the milk to the man next to you if he doesn't drink. We're at the 5th station now, and I'll get off at the next station. Are you really going to give it to me so at least I know if I should be late for my interview or not?"
When I arrived at the 6th station, I didn't wait to see if the mother would give me the milk. I might be late for my interview, so I got off.
Hahaha! Of course, this story is just a joke. I told it just to make you laugh.
