Welcome to one of the captivating days I had through time as I tour you around to my last trip to Northern Blossom Flower Farm in Atok, Benguet two years ago. I am going to highlight the enchanting flowers that adorn this enchanting flower farm. As we embrace the month of May, known as the month of flowers or "Flores de Mayo," let us immerse ourselves in the beauty of these rare blooms that left me in awe. This blog is a heartfelt tribute to the magical experience I had with my daughter and dear friends, where we discovered the wonders of nature and shared unforgettable moments together.
As May burst into vibrant colors, my daughter, a few close friends, and I set off on an adventure to Northern Blossom Flower Farm. Excitement filled the air as we stepped into this hidden paradise, nestled among the awe-inspiring landscapes of Atok, Benguet. The farm welcomed us warmly, beckoning us to uncover its hidden gems of extraordinary and precious flowers. Paying the entrance fee, which was just 250 Philippine pesos back then, felt like a steal considering the enchantment that lay ahead. As we set foot on the farm, a delightful symphony of floral scents and a mesmerizing array of colors welcomed us with open arms. It was like stepping into a magical wonderland, where time seemed to pause and all our worries melted away.
One by one, we encountered a plethora of fascinating flowers, each with its own unique charm. The everlasting flowers, with their delicate petals and timeless beauty, captivated our hearts. The pot marigold, with its vibrant orange hues, seemed to radiate joy and warmth. The large bullwort stood tall and proud, its majestic presence commanding attention.
As we wandered further, we discovered the canterbury bells, their bell-shaped blooms dancing in the gentle breeze. The floss flower, with its fluffy purple blossoms, added a touch of whimsy to the landscape. The desert rose, with its striking pink petals, transported us to exotic lands. And the devil's backbone, with its intriguing twisted stems, reminded us of the resilience of nature. Our adventure carried on, and we couldn't help but be amazed by the Chinese hibiscus, flaunting its fiery red blooms, and the rose cabbage, with its layers of petals that looked just like a delicate rose. The snapdragons joined in the fun with their lively colors and quirky shapes, injecting a playful vibe into the scene. And let's not forget the dusty miller, with its classy silver-gray foliage, gracefully enhancing the overall floral tapestry.
Among the blooms that enchanted us were the larkspurs, with their tall spires of delicate flowers in shades of blue and purple. The alstroemeria, with its vibrant and varied colors, painted a picture of diversity and beauty. And the delphiniums, with their majestic spikes of blossoms, stood tall as if reaching for the sky. As we lost ourselves in the mesmerizing beauty of these extraordinary flowers, a profound sense of gratitude washed over us. We couldn't help but feel incredibly lucky to have had the chance to witness such breathtaking natural wonders. The whole experience was like stepping into a whole new realm, a magical world that seemed far removed from our everyday lives. It served as a powerful reminder of just how crucial it is for us to cherish and protect the remarkable beauty of nature.
Let me tell you, my trip to Northern Blossom Flower Farm in Atok, Benguet, two years ago was an absolute blast! It was a journey that overflowed with jaw-dropping moments that we'll cherish forever. Those rare and breathtaking flowers we came across? They imprinted themselves on our hearts, leaving an everlasting impression. And hey, since it's May, the month of flowers, let's take a moment to appreciate the sheer beauty that envelops us and the pure joy that nature brings.
