Technology is evolving and because of this many of the activities are getting automated. Most businesses are looking for options through technology so that they can save their costing on resources. I think after the artificial intelligence technology this has increased and now a lot of people are talking about automation and many other technology-related innovations. Companies are paying a lot of money to hire talent, and it is going to be a saving for them. Many technology companies have already been working on automating most of the work so that they are less dependent on humans and most of the tasks are done by the technology itself.
People are saying that AI will replace many jobs in the next few years. I'm not an expert in artificial intelligence technology but I can see that this is going to happen instead of replacement, it would be a kind of shift of jobs from one to another. When the computer was not with us at that time also things were happening manually but now because of the computer so many jobs are generated. I expect that a similar shift will happen with AI technology too. Artificial intelligence technology will automate many industries but it will also open the door for the making where people can get different roles provided they are upgraded with new skills.
My Career is safe from AI
The type of job I am doing has nothing to do with technology. I work in the fashion industry and technology has very little involvement in this field because most of the things are done by humans and because this is the kind of work that requires manual work technology is not able to do this. At least for a decade it's not looking like that so I'm not worried about the job that I'm doing. I do feel like dancing from home gives me convenience and freedom because I can work when I want. I have recently used chat gpt and let me tell you that this is a very good application. I did it because my son got some homework and he is also learning AI in school so I also thought of giving it a try. I know that it can do a lot and there is a lot that I still don't know so I can say that it is a highly advanced technology that will surely replace jobs in the future.
It will replace the job but not mine because my industry is completely different and most of the jobs that it will replace are the ones that are currently done through the computers. In my job, there is no rule of the computer and everything is done with the machine which is operated by a human. Those who are worried about their job and that they will be jobless in the next few years should take it seriously. I mean to say they need to upgrade themselves and learn how to work with AI technology. AI will indeed automate a lot of work but we can't deny the fact that even to operate and get things done through AI we need to have people using prompt engineering. So if we have people who are very good in prompt engineering and can get things done through the AI chatbot then they will be on demand. This is why I believe that upgrading ourselves is important now rather than worrying about losing the job.
Technology is good for us and if we can keep ourselves upgraded from time to time then it will not negatively impact us. I expect that even with artificial intelligence technology there will be many new types of jobs available in the market but we need to understand and keep ourselves aligned with the requirements that we might see in the market in the next few years. Learning is a process that we should follow and no matter at what level you are working on with upgraded level of knowledge will never be obsolete in the job market.

It's good that your job is already secured from technology and AI but I think fashion industry has a lot of involvement of technology.

Well said, now the fashion industry is using tech but it's not that advanced like AI so I need not worry. It's a creative business so AI can not do anything as this tech is good on repetitive tasks. Thank you so much for curation dear @tahastories1

You might be safe for now. That is a good thing. However, AI seems to be evolving at a very rapid pace. I am not an expert by any means but I am seeing brand new AI tools and apps introduced just about every week.
There might still be professions and jobs that will always need human involvement though. And that is a good thing. The best thing is to stay updated in your profession
That's right. Some jobs may be replaceable by AI so the best we can do is adapt and improve
I love the points you made and you're right, AI will replace some jobs but will also give birth to more jobs. AI can actually take over jobs in the fashion industry as AI is not only restricted to computers, it can be used on machines and robots as well. Right now in Europe and Asia, some farms are being run by AI robots. Honestly, no job is safe from AI, it can take over any job if it wants to, it's just a matter of time. Although I will admit that it will be very hard for it to take over jobs that require creativity (like fashion designing)
The world is truly going digital and AI is an advancement of science and technology. Nonetheless, finding shortfalls will bring the relevance of human presence and interference. AI definitely brings ease but should not bebe totally relied upon as failures are bound to occur.
