Today I share with you the passage from 1 Corinthians 13:8-13 where it talks about the eternal nature of love in contrast to other temporary things such as prophecies and science.
The passage says like this:
Love never stops being; but prophecies will end, and tongues will cease, and knowledge will end. For we know in part, and we prophesy in part; but when that which is perfect comes, then that which is in part will come to an end. When I was a child, I spoke like a child, I thought like a child, I judged like a child; But when I was a man, I left what I was like as a child. Now we see through a mirror, darkly; but then we will see face to face. Now I know in part; but then I will know as I was known.

The passage compares spiritual growth with human development. Just as we leave behind a child's way of thinking when we become adults, we can also expect spiritual growth that leads to a deeper and more complete understanding.

El amor nunca deja de ser; pero las profecías se acabarán, y cesarán las lenguas, y la ciencia acabará.
