Today I share with you to end the work week some verses that highlight the intimate relationship between God (the Lord), the Holy Spirit and believers, and how that relationship brings spiritual freedom and transformation towards the likeness of Christ.
Because the Lord is the Spirit; and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom. Therefore we all, with unveiled face beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed from glory to glory into the same image, as by the Spirit of the Lord.
2 Corinthians 3:17-18
In the first verse it says "For the Lord is the Spirit", reference is made to the nature of the Holy Spirit as the very presence of God in the lives of believers. This means that the Holy Spirit is not simply a force or an energy, but is God Himself working in us.
Then it is said, "where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom." This implies that the presence of the Holy Spirit brings spiritual freedom. This freedom is understood on several levels: freedom from sin, freedom to live in communion with God, freedom to be transformed into the image of Christ, among other aspects.
The passage goes on to say that as we look upon the glory of the Lord as in a mirror, we are transformed from glory to glory into the same image. This means that as we contemplate the glory of God revealed in Jesus Christ, we are gradually transformed to be more like Him. Transformation is the work of the indwelling Holy Spirit, who enables us and guides us in this process of spiritual growth.

Hoy les comparto para terminar la semana laboral unos versículos donde se resalta la íntima relación entre Dios (el Señor), el Espíritu Santo y los creyentes, y cómo esa relación trae libertad espiritual y transformación hacia la semejanza de Cristo.
Porque el Señor es el Espíritu; y donde está el Espíritu del Señor, allí hay libertad. Por tanto, nosotros todos, mirando a cara descubierta como en un espejo la gloria del Señor, somos transformados de gloria en gloria en la misma imagen, como por el Espíritu del Señor.
2 Corintios 3:17-18
En el primer versículo se dice "Porque el Señor es el Espíritu", se está haciendo referencia a la naturaleza del Espíritu Santo como la misma presencia de Dios en la vida de los creyentes. Esto significa que el Espíritu Santo no es simplemente una fuerza o una energía, sino que es Dios mismo obrando en nosotros.
Luego se dice, "donde está el Espíritu del Señor, allí hay libertad". Esto implica que la presencia del Espíritu Santo trae libertad espiritual. Esta libertad es entendida en varios niveles: libertad del pecado, libertad para vivir en comunión con Dios, libertad para ser transformados a la imagen de Cristo, entre otros aspectos.
El pasaje continúa diciendo que al mirar a la gloria del Señor como en un espejo, nosotros somos transformados de gloria en gloria en la misma imagen. Esto significa que al contemplar la gloria de Dios revelada en Jesucristo, somos transformados gradualmente para ser más como Él. La transformación es obra del Espíritu Santo que mora en nosotros, quien nos capacita y nos guía en este proceso de crecimiento espiritual.
