My choice

Placing coffee and alcohol side by side shouldn’t be a thing, like how do compare a cup of goodness to a cup of intoxication, no offense to alcohol lovers though.

You must decide to either give up coffee or alcohol permanently. What factors sway your decision, and what do you select to eliminate?

Looking at the two options I didn’t need to think twice about it neither did I need a soothsayer to tell me the one drink I could give up permanently. My answer is ALCOHOL!! Any day, any time!

I am not an alcohol person, I can literally count how many times I have taken it in my life, I hear people speak so highly of it but I am not fazed. Whenever I go out with my friends I always go for soft drinks as I do not have the energy to deal with whatever baggage that comes with alcohol.

The benefits of taking coffee are endless. For me, coffee is one drink that helps rejuvenate me and I don’t think alcohol is capable of doing that as it does the exact opposite.

Instead of falling in love or being addicted to alcohol, I would rather be addicted to coffee, as we all know excess consumption of alcohol can lead to so many health challenges and I wouldn’t want to go down that road.

Coffee is rarely consumed at once, a full pack of coffee can last for a month and can serve an entire family making it more economical for individuals and families unlike alcoholic drinks that can be consumed in a couple of hours by a single person and the more intake of alcohol the more drinks the individual would want to purchase which eventually leads to waste of money as that individual ends up being drunk and completely useless for a couple of hours and in all honestly I do not want to experience this hence my elimination of the drink completely.

Also, Coffee is rarely abused by consumers compared to how alcoholic drinks are abused by consumers, for me the reasons behind the excessive intake of alcohol do not add up and excessive intake can lead to fatalities as a lot of people’s heads are messed up once they start consuming several bottles. Even the manufacturers of these alcoholic drinks know the harm that the composition of their drinks can cause if consumed excessively which is why they use slogans like “Drink Responsibly”, putting your life in your own hands and not theirs, show me any coffee brand that advises coffee lovers to drink responsibly and I will wait🥰🥰

Excessive intake of alcohol can lead to kidney and liver failure, as a young lady who is full of life I am not ready for that.

Drinking and driving is a serious offense as offenders are punished greatly.
Drinking and driving can lead to accidents. The law against drinking and driving came to be as a result of people’s lack of coordination once they get high on alcohol. When an individual consumes too much alcohol they do not think straight and in that moment they can do anything.

I wouldn’t hesitate to eliminate a drink that can stimulate happiness one minute and can render me useless the next minute all because I enjoyed taking it and wanted more.

Coffee on the other hand makes you more focused, relaxes your nerves, and keeps you rejuvenated. It is always better to start the day with a cup of coffee than a bottle of alcohol, trying out both on different days can show you some major differences.

So I would choose to do away with alcohol and enjoy my coffee🥰🥰

Interesting perspective on coffee and alcohol! I'm with you on choosing coffee over alcohol any day. Coffee is a daily essential for me, while I can easily skip alcohol. Cheers to enjoying a good cup of coffee!

I'm not also a fan of alcohol but I also don't drink coffee that much except if I Truly crave a taste of it. I believe every sane person would choose coffee over alcohol but then everyone has what they prefer the most. Though excessive consumption of alcohol is bad but it also applies to coffee, too much of everything is always bad for our health.

Yes Emrys too much of everything is very bad

Alcohol has never been my option for once I must confess. It is hard to actually see myself drinking it

Same here!

I am tempted to say no one will choose alcohol over coffee but there are people who will go for alcohol depending on their perspective while some will go for coffee. But as for me, I choose non of them, I am neutral😅

Lol team neutral I see you😂😂

Here we have too things that can be poisons if taken in excess.

Coffee in excess is bad for your heart ,kidneys and brain
Alcohol in excess is bad for your liver and brain.

Hence I ll say for both of them, DRINK RESPONSIBLY.
