Buying a New Charge Cable
Some of my house interiors, tools, and electrical products are out of order or breaking down little by little, unfortunately. I noticed that if one product has some issues, it will affect the other products... and money seems to have wings and flies away constantly at the same time. I ordered a new blind, which was also broken. My husband's auto drills were also broken. I hope there's no more chain reaction in this house!
Phew..., I needed to buy a new charging cable for my laptop, which was almost broken. I don't like using duck (duct) tape for fixing stuff because it becomes very sticky and greasy.
However, people strongly believe in the strength of duct tape here... yes, it is very strong and tough. I can't stand the look of it. Also, the old cable became yellowish-looking. I think this cable has no future soon. After waiting for a while attached and doing first aid with duct tape, I decided to buy a new cable.
As soon as I opened the new package, I noticed that the product looked different from before. It seems a bit stronger than before. If I compare it with the old one, it's definitely not as fragile anymore. Hopefully, we won't need cables for phones and computers in the near future.

新しいチャージケーブルを購入する
残念なことに、このところ家の中のインテリア、道具、電化製品などが少しずつ故障したり壊れかけたりしているものが目立ちます。不思議なことに、何かひとつがダメになると他のものにも故障が伝染してダメになることが多いように感じます。そして、お金には羽が生えていて一気に同じタイミングで消えてしまう気がします。最近ブラインドが壊れたので新しいものを注文しました。主人の電動ドリルも壊れてしまいました。もうこれ以上チェーンリアクションが起こりませんように！
ふう…、さらにラップトップ用のチャージケーブルがもう限界です。ダック（ダクト）テープで補強するのはベタついてしまうので好きではありません。
ところが、ダックテープを使って補強するのが割と主要です。確かにダックテープは強力なのですが、私は見た目が好きになれません。古いケーブルが黄色っぽくなって見えますね。このケーブルは寿命が近づいているようです。ダックテープで応急処置をしてしばらく使いましたが、やはり新しいケーブルを購入することにしました。
注文した新しいパッケージが届いたので早速開けてみると、ケーブルのデザインが前と違うことに気がつきました。おそらく壊れにくいデザインになったようです。古い型のケーブルと比べてみると、以前のような壊れやすい素材ではなさそうです。今後はパソコンや電話のケーブルがなくても使えるものができて欲しいです。

haha the power of duct tape. I don't know why people love it so much. In the US many people have the saying "With duct tape and a can of WD-40, I can fix anything". Maybe people in Canada say the same.

True! People here totally believe in the power of duck (duct) tape! They even fix their cars, houses, and more. I hated it at the beginning because it didn't truly fix them. However... I got used to using it... I guess I am going to miss it in Japan...hahaha. I didn't know that duct tape history is connected to war history. Anyway, my new cable looks great!
ケーブル新しくなってよかったです。踏んだり蹴ったりだなと思うことありますよね。うちでは台所の棚が落ちたり 😅 私はスマートフォンのケースの塗装がハゲてきているのでどうにかしたいなと思いつつ。。
ドイツでもダックテープ、そこかしこで見かけます。車の修理みたいに使っている人もいて・・・別世界に来たなと思いました。
何かがダメになると連鎖が起こるのはなぜなのでしょうね…😅 塗装が剥げてきているくらいではなかなか購入に踏み切れないのがわかります。買い換えると気分がすごくいいのは分かっているのですが、完全に壊れるまで我慢してしまいがちですよね。
ドイツもダックテープ必須なのですね。車の修理している人いますいます！なんでもかんでもダックテープを出してくるおじさま達の顔は得意げです😆
