It's a pleasure to be here again to present you my most recent artwork minted on our great @nftshowroom platform. I want to tell you how they came into existence and some tweaks I made to them. Unfortunately these are edits I made a few months ago, and unfortunately I didn't document the retouching process done with GIMP on my computer. Even so, through this publication I want to give context to these arts.
INFINITY UMBRELLAS
I went to a nearby city to run some personal errands. I've passed this avenue many times, but something had changed. It was this decoration with umbrellas (or parasols, whatever you want to call them) of different colors elevated over the pedestrian walkway. I had seen this idea in other cities, but I didn't know they were now in this place. I wanted to take a good picture. Since I only had my cell phone, I was a little discouraged. I like to have my reflex camera. But after a few moments I had an idea: I would take a panoramic picture with my cell phone.
I positioned myself in the middle of the design, programmed the device's camera in the corresponding mode and then took the photo by making the characteristic movement for that type of photo. If someone was watching me on the sly I think they would find what I was doing very funny.
I really liked this photo. In fact, it is almost a year and a half old since I took it and it has taken me all this time to decide to share it, get rid of it and give it a chance for someone else to have it exclusively.
Using the GIMP program I retouched a little the colors and increased the sharpness. I consider that the photo has a good quality and there was good light, so there were not many changes in the image. I decided to leave those dimensions because I think that is part of its uniqueness. Visually it is somewhat strange to the human eye, and I want that length and width to be unusual as well. That's why there won't be a copy like it, there is only one edition of this art.

COTORRI-TO
Last year we visited a rural area where we met new friends. One of them had several birds and one of them was this parakeet called "Cotorrito". Why? Because that was the sound he made. Sometimes we would be in front of the house and we would hear him in the backyard shouting that name from a guava tree. When he was hungry he would walk into the house and ride on the kitchen furniture to search around, or he would ride on top of the owners lap implying what he wanted.
I have several pictures of him. However, creating a NFT to remember him would be a nice touch. So I got to work in GIMP with one of the best images I had.
I proceeded to retouch the colors and kept the dimensions, but I wanted to give it an abstract touch. I used some filters like "Oil Painting" and "Glass Mosaic" but I didn't like them. So I used the "Cubism" filter. However, I noticed that it was a pity that the eye was distorted. I thought it was important to make it stand out and it might even help to fix the eye of the beholder and maybe its shape could give it a more interesting touch among so many squares, so I took care to leave it there.

Un gusto volver a estar aquí para presentarles mi más recientes artes acuñadas en nuestra genial plataforma de @nftshowroom . Quiero contarles cómo llegaron a existir y algunos retoques que le hice. Lamentablemente son ediciones que realicé hace unos meses atrás, y lamentablemente no documenté el proceso de retoques hechos con el programa GIMP en mi computadora. Aún así, mediante ésta publicación quiero darle contexto a éstas artes.
PARAGUAS INFINITOS
Fui a una ciudad cercana a hacer unas diligencias personales. He pasado muchas veces por ésta avenida, pero algo había cambiado. Era ésta decoración con paraguas (o sombrillas, como las quieran llamar) de diferentes colores elevadas sobre el paso peatonal. Ésta idea la había visto en otras ciudades, pero no sabía que estaban ahora en éste sitio. Quise tomarle una buena foto. En vista que sólo tenía mi celular, me desanimé un poco. Me gusta tener es mi cámara reflex. Pero luego de unos instantes tuve una idea: tomaría una foto panorámica con mi celular.
Me ubiqué en el medio del diseño, programé la cámara del dispositivo en el modo correspondiente y entonces tomé la foto haciendo el movimiento característico para ese tipo de foto. Si alguien estaba observándome a escondidas creo que le parecería muy gracioso lo que estaba haciendo.
Esta foto me gustó mucho. De hecho, tiene casi año y medio desde que la tomé y todo éste tiempo he tardado en decidir compartirla, desprenderme de ella y darle la oportunidad de que alguien más la tenga de forma exclusiva.
Mediante el programa GIMP retoqué un poco los colores y aumenté la nitidez. Considero que la foto tiene una calidad buena y había buena luz, por eso no hubo muchos cambios en la imagen. Decidí dejarle esas dimensiones porque creo que es parte de su singularidad. Visualmente es algo extraña para el ojo humano, y quiero que ese largo y ancho también sea inusual. Por eso no existirá una copia igual, existe sólo una edición de esta arte.

COTORRI-TO
El año pasado visitamos una zona rural donde conocimos a nuevos amigos. Uno de ellos tenía varias aves y una de ellas era éste perico llamado "Cotorrito". ¿Por qué? Porque ese era el sonido que él emitía. A veces estábamos frente a la casa y lo escuchábamos en el patio trasero gritar ese nombre desde un árbol de guayaba. Cuando tenía hambre caminaba hasta dentro de la casa y se montaba en el mobiliario de la cocina a registrar por allí, o se montaba encima del regazo de los dueños dando a entender lo que quería.
Tengo varias fotos de él. Sin embargo, crear un NFT para recordarlo sería un lindo detalle. Por eso me puse manos a la obra en el programa GIMP con una de las mejores imágenes que tenía.
Procedí a retocarle los colores y conservé las dimensiones. pero quise darle un toque abstracto. Usé algunos filtros como "Pintura al óleo" y "Mosaico de cristal" pero no me gustaron. Por eso usé el filtro "Cubismo". Sin embargo, noté que era una lástima de que el ojo se distorsionara. Consideré de que era importante que se distinguiera e incluso podría ayudar a fijar la mirada de quien lo contempla y tal vez su forma podría darle un toque más interesante entre tantos cuadrados, por lo que me encargué de dejárselo.
