Broken spirit

Muy buenas noches amigos, espero que estén bien. Hoy quise realizar este retrato con tonos fríos y con estas vibras oscuras y nostálgicas que tanto me gustan, quise darle un efecto muy suave a todo el dibujo, es algo que estoy practicando mucho últimamente y me gusta el acabado, para esto utilice mucho el pincel difuso y algunos efectos de desenfoque, fue un trabajo muy satisfactorio de hacer y estoy contenta con el resultado, espero que les guste.

Very good evening friends, I hope you are well.
Today I wanted to make this portrait with cold tones and with these dark and nostalgic vibes that I like so much, I wanted to give a very soft effect to the whole drawing, it is something that I am practicing a lot lately and I like the finish, for this I used a lot the diffuse brush and some blur effects, it was a very satisfying work to do and I am happy with the result, I hope you like it.

Proceso/Process

Realice el boceto y elegí los colores para trabajar, esta vez eran en su mayoría tonos rosas, azules y lila muy claros, empecé a aplicar los colores en todo el rostro y luego en una nueva capa añadí mas tonos para terminar de formar el rostro, después con el pincel difuso difumine todos los colores dejando una piel suave, intente darle muchos detalles a los ojos y nariz para que lucieran bastante realistas, luego coloque un color de base en el cabello para el cual use un azul oscuro desaturado.

I made the sketch and chose the colors to work with, this time they were mostly very light pink, blue and lilac tones, I started to apply the colors all over the face and then in a new layer I added more tones to finish forming the face, then with the diffuse brush I blurred all the colors leaving a soft skin, I tried to give many details to the eyes and nose to make them look quite realistic, then I put a base color in the hair for which I used a desaturated dark blue.

Añadí luces y sombras al cabello para un mejor acabado y más realismo, luego empecé a darle mas color al rostro agregando un poco mas de tonos rosas en las mejillas y alrededor de los ojos, dibuje las líneas que simulan este efecto de “roto” y le di volumen dibujando pequeñas líneas blancas en algunos bordes de la piel quebrada, para el fondo elegí simplemente un azul claro con un degradado de azul oscuro en la parte inferior, después añadí algunos puntos de luz en el rostro resaltando un poco mas los ojos, nariz y labios, quise oscurecer un poco mas el ojo de la parte del rostro que esta roto, me gustó como se veía asi que lo conserve de esta manera, finalice realizando una edición de imagen donde mejore los colores y tambien añadí un efecto de desenfoque.

I added lights and shadows to the hair for a better finish and more realism, then I started to give more color to the face adding a little more pink tones on the cheeks and around the eyes, I drew the lines that simulate this “broken” effect and gave volume by drawing small white lines on some edges of the broken skin, for the background I chose just a light blue with a dark blue gradient at the bottom, then I added some points of light in the face highlighting a little more the eyes, nose and lips, I wanted to darken a little more the eye of the part of the face that is broken, I liked how it looked so I kept it this way, I finished making an image editing where I improved the colors and also added a blur effect.
