Just Another Day At School

in Freewriterslast month
Hey Hive Fam,

Gather 'round for a story from my school days that'll make you smile. Imagine a classroom buzzing with energy, a teacher dishing out wisdom about letter writing, and me scribbling notes faster than you can say "pen and paper."

Now, we all know letter writing's a big deal, right? It's how we apply for jobs, chat with pals, and even air out our gripes. And on this day, we're diving into the world of informal letters.

But here's where it gets interesting. The assignment: "Write to your sis abroad about your last holiday." Seems simple, right? Well, buckle up, 'cause things took a twist.

A student stands up and says, "But sir, I don't have a sis abroad. So how I'm I writing letter?"

And the teacher says, "No sweat! In informal letters, anything flies. Let your imagination run wild!"

Yep, you heard that right. Our teacher gave us a pass to spin a yarn, stretch the truth, and add a splash of creativity. So, naturally, I got to work crafting a masterpiece.

Here's my letter to "Andrea":

Hey Andrea,

Hope you're living it up out there! Let me spill about my latest holiday—it was wild!

Picture this: me and the gang hitting the road for the ultimate adventure. Packed the car with snacks, tunes, and tons of excitement, and off we went!

First stop? A cozy cabin in the mountains. Think tall trees, calm lakes, and views so stunning they'd make your jaw drop.

During the day, we became explorers, trekking through forests, finding hidden waterfalls, and even trying kayaking (spoiler alert: we didn't tip over, but it was close).

But wait, there's more! We spent the Nights around a campfire, toasting marshmallows, grilling burgers, and swapping stories under a sky full of stars. It was like a scene from a movie.

And let's not forget stargazing. Away from the city lights, we had front-row seats to a cosmic show that left us speechless.

After a few days of fun, we reluctantly packed up and headed home, but not before promising to do it all again soon.

Back home, I relaxed—caught up on reading, tried new recipes (some were a failure), and watched my favorite shows.

So, that's my holiday in a nutshell. Can't wait to hear what you've been up to!

                                              Your lovely brother
                                               Keith キース.
