So looking at the prompt and the road I decided to call the poem Where am I going? This is my first entry so be nice....

Where am I going?

Winds blow the seed to make a new
To make good, to make a few more copies of themselves
Carbon copies
Same DNA
So where am I going you say?
Are we talking, going now, going then or going many years from now?

Right now?
Well it is one step after step
One moment after moment
Each one harder, each one a disaster

But later? where am I going then?
What is the plan?
Where do I stand on which turn to take
Which song to follow

But then year from now, where do I go?
Letting the seed follow the wind
Free from my sin
My goals
My path
My chagrin

If God's looking down
Then he looks with a laugh
At my lack of direction
My lack of a plan

I know one thing though
Every journey ends
So where am I going?
well, wherever I'm sent
I do what I have to
That's the journey of men
