Hello friends of Hive! Here I am again talking about the Expo in Milan. Today I will talk about some pavilions that were very important for me, as they expressed through their architecture, fundamental messages on the theme of nutrition, respect for the planet and new energies, all in full respect of sustainability.
Ciao amici di Hive! Eccomi tornata a parlare dell’Expo di Milano. Oggi vi parlerò di alcuni padiglioni che per me sono stati molto importanti, in quanto esprimevano tramite la loro architettura, dei messaggi fondamentali sul tema della nutrizione, rispetto per il pianeta e nuove energie, il tutto nel pieno rispetto della sostenibilità.
THE PAVILION OF JAPAN
The Japanese pavilion is one of the pavilions that has impressed me the most, not so much in terms of structure and architecture, but for its content. Inside it, we wanted to represent all that is the Japanese culture and tradition. There were a number of works that represented the symbiosis between man and nature and the importance of their cooperation. Then there were digital animations showing the Aioi, the natural harmony destroyed by man, for example with the cultivation of rice fields. A theme that makes us reflect a lot and that leads us to reflect on the way we operate within the planet.
Very interesting was the part dedicated to Japanese food, there were a series of drawers that could be opened, inside which were explained the various Japanese dishes.
Il PADIGLIONE DEL GIAPPONE
Il padiglione del Giappone è uno dei padiglioni che più mi ha colpito, non tanto a livello strutturale e architettonico, quanto per il suo contenuto. Al suo interno si è voluto rappresentare tutta quella che è la cultura e la tradizione giapponese. Vi erano una serie di opere che rappresentavano la simbiosi tra uomo e natura e l’importanza della loro cooperazione. Vi erano poi delle animazioni digitali che mostravano l’Aioi, l’armonia naturale distrutta dall’uomo, per esempio con la coltivazione delle risaie. Un tema che fa riflettere molto e che porta l’uomo a riflettere sul suo modo di operare all’interno del pianeta.
Interessantissima era la parte dedicata al cibo giapponese, vi erano una serie di cassetti che si potevano aprire, dentro la quale si trovavano spiegati i vari piatti giapponesi.
Korea pavilion
Remaining in the East theme, another pavilion that pleasantly surprised me was that of Korea. The main slogan of this pavilion was : You are what you eat. Indeed, we are also what we eat, and behind this Korea has made a speech of importance of healthy nutrition as opposed to hunger in the world, in those areas where there is no food that you need, And then Korea wonders how to provide food for everyone in the future.
Also in this pavilion, as in that of Japan, the typical dishes of Korean culture are presented through digital videos on special screens.
Padiglione della Corea
Rimanendo in tema oriente, un altro padiglione che mi ha stupita piacevolmente è stato quello della Corea. Lo slogan principale di questo padiglione è stato : Sei quello che mangi. Effettivamente è così, noi siamo anche quello che mangiamo, e dietro questo la Corea ha fatto tutto un discorso di importanza della sana nutrizione in contrapposizione alla fame nel mondo, in quelle zone dove non c’è il cibo di cui si ha bisogno, e allora la Corea si interroga su come fornire cibo a tutti in futuro.
Anche in questo padiglione, come in quello del Giappone, alla fine vengono presentati, tramite video digitali su appositi schermi, i piatti tipici della cultura coreana.
The Russian Pavilion
The pavilion of Russia is the pavilion that I liked very much at the structural level, has a very minimal elongated parallelepiped shape, reminiscent of the first structures created for the universal exhibition. The effect part is the roof, almost 30 meters long and convex, which has been totally covered with steel and for this seems a long mirror in which, visitors waiting for the entrance to the pavilion, can mirror and take pictures.
Inside there is a kind of scientific laboratory full of "tubes" inside which flows a mysterious liquid.
In the highest part of the pavilion you can have a view from above on the nearest pavilions.
Il padiglione Russo
Il padiglione della Russia è il padiglione che mi è piaciuto molto a livello strutturale, ha una forma a parallelepipedo allungata molto minimal , che ricorda le prime strutture create per l’esposizione universale. La parte d’effetto è la tettoia, lunga quasi 30 mt e di forma convessa, che è stata totalmente rivestita di acciaio e per questo sembra un lungo specchio nel quale, i visitatori in attesa dell’ingresso al padiglione, possono specchiarsi e fare delle foto.
All’interno si trova una sorta di laboratorio scientifico pieno di “tubi” dentro i quali scorre un liquido misterioso.
Nella parte più alta del padiglione si può avere una visuale dall’alto sui padiglioni più vicini.
The pavilion of Germany
"Field of Ideas". This was the main theme of the German pavilion at Expo 2015, and Germany wants to resume what is the simplest architecture, that of the countryside, a dialogue between nature and man.
The most interesting part of the pavilion is inside, a space completely dedicated to the "my garden of ideas " in which they expose ideas regarding the cultivation within the cities, for example the use of the vertical garden, the mobile garden with aromatic plants. All this with a clear message that refers to activism, to having to do something to safeguard and protect the planet in which we live, a slogan that resonates loud and clear in all parts of our body and that wakes us from our being comfortable spectators of the world and puts us at the forefront as activists, "BE(e) ACTIVE ! "This is the slogan, told and sung by two boys, and here too the importance of ecosystems, of bees, already in reference with the word bee, but also through screens shaped like a beehive on which images of magnificent landscapes are transmitted.
Il padiglione della Germania
“Field of Ideas” . Questo è stato il tema principale del padiglione tedesco all’expo 2015, e la Germania vuole riprendere quella che è l’architettura più semplice, quella della campagna, un dialogo tra natura e l’uomo.
La parte però più interessante del padiglione si trova all’interno, uno spazio dedicato completamente al “ mio giardino delle idee “ in cui si espongono delle idee per quanto riguarda le coltivazioni all’interno delle città, per esempio l’utilizzo del giardino verticale, dell’orto mobile con piante aromatiche. Tutto questo con un messaggio ben chiaro che rimanda all’attivismo, al dover fare qualcosa per salvaguardare e tutelare il pianeta in cui viviamo, uno slogan che risuona forte e chiaro in tutte le parti del nostro corpo e che ci sveglia dal nostro essere comodi spettatori del mondo e ci mette in prima linea come attivisti, “BE(e) ACTIVE ! “ questo è lo slogan, raccontato e cantato da due ragazzi, e anche qui viene ripresa l’importanza degli ecosistemi, delle api, già in rimando con la parola bee, ma anche tramite schermi a forma di alveare sulla quale sono trasmesse immagini di magnifici paesaggi.
