El fin de semana nos fuimos de pasea a Tipitiripe, este pueblo se ubica entre San Pedro y San Diego en los Altos Mirandinos.
Tipitiripe es una parada turística con hermosa vista hacia la montaña por ende, se respire aire fresco y sabroso.
En Tipitiripe se mantiene una tradición muy bonita. La gente se muestra alegre, unida, amable, servicial. Predomina la venta de cochino frito o asado, con arepa o con hallaquitas, también conseguimos las famosas cachapas con queso, sola o también con un buena carne de pernil de cerdo.
This weekend we went on a trip to Tipitiripe, this town is located between San Pedro and San Diego in the Altos Mirandinos.
Tipitiripe is a touristic stop with a beautiful view to the mountains, so you can breathe fresh and tasty air.
In Tipitiripe a very nice tradition is maintained. The people are cheerful, united, friendly, helpful. Predominantly the sale of fried or roasted pork, with arepa or hallaquitas, we also get the famous cachapas with cheese, alone or with a good pork leg meat.
Para los amantes de los dulces están los tradicionales helados de coco, fresa, durazno o guanábana. Besos de coco, bocadillos de guayaba o plátano, churros con arequipe, fresas con crema dulce de leche y más.
El lugar cuenta con pequeños restaurantes para compartir entre amigos o familiares. Ofrecen cervezas o algunos cócteles sencillos.
Lo más importante de todo es lo bien que se pasa un día en el lugar a pesar de ser un pueblo pequeño.
Esta parada turística es obligatoria hacerla. Se dice que está zona era un paso de trasporte que iban a buscar mercacía. Es una zona de agricultura y ganadería. Sin embargo, poco a poco fue dejando de tan próspera. Aún así, ¿Saben qué nos ofrecen por acá? ¡Café venezolano!
For those with a sweet tooth there are the traditional coconut, strawberry, peach or soursop ice creams. Coconut kisses, guava or banana sandwiches, churros with arequipe, strawberries with sweet cream and more.
The place has small restaurants to share with friends or family. They offer beers or some simple cocktails.
The most important of all is how well a day is spent in the place despite being a small town.
This tourist stop is a must. It is said that this area used to be a passage of transports that went to look for merchandise. It is an area of agriculture and livestock. However, little by little it was no longer so prosperous. Even so, do you know what they offer us here? Venezuelan coffee!
Lo que sí conserva el pequeño pueblito es esa magia para hacer sentir bien a los visitante. Entramos a una tienda donde se fabrican muebles de madera y entre los adornos observamos muñecos elaborados con trapo.
En Venezuela este tipo de muñecos eran lo máximo. Recuerdo que en mi época de niña las amaba y las quería todas. Mi madre siempre hacía una así que nos premiaban constantemente con esos regalos fabulosos.
What the small town does preserve is that magic that makes visitors feel good. We entered a store where wooden furniture is made and among the ornaments we saw dolls made of rags.
In Venezuela this type of dolls were the best. I remember when I was a child I loved them and wanted them all. My mother always made one so we were constantly rewarded with those fabulous gifts.
Actualmente, la evolución tecnológica ha sacado de circulación estas lindas muñecas. El dueño de la tienda de igual manera reconoce el poco interés de las personas por comprar un muñeco de este estilo, pero se le ocurrió crear personajes específico y dice que fue todo un éxito.
Actualmente tiene la colección de la famosa serie mexicana El Chavo del Ocho y Los Picapiedras, otra serie infantil que tiene muchos años en TV.
Obviamente, fueron muchos recuerdos que llegaron a mi mente en ese momento cuando recorría la tienda.
Para quienes no han ido a Tipitiripe, se los recomiendo, ir a Tipitiripe es recordar el ambiente de la Colonia Tovar en el Junquito, Galipán en el Ávila o el Hatillo. Al menos a mí me hizo recordar esos lugares.

Me encanto este lugar, muy parecido a lo que consigues en la Colonia Tovar; de niña tambien era fanatica de las muñecas de trapo, son hermosas y aun conservo un par de mi infancia, Saludos.

Beautiful place, you are right, we have lost a lot of interest in this kind of beautiful art. It is great the family of the chavo in rag and they are so cool, but sometimes it is the price and that there are other priorities. Very nice this place.
