V neděli ráno jsem měl pro sebe chvíli času. Tak jsem si udělal kratičký výlet k řece Vltavě na severním okraji Českých Budějovic.

Sunday morning I had some time for myself. So I took a short trip to the Vltava River on the northern edge of České Budějovice.

V části České Vrbné jsou dvě docela zajímavá místa.
První místo je maličký přístav pro malé říční lodě a hned v sousedství je umělý vodní kanál pro kánoe, rafty a kajaky.

There are two quite interesting places in the České Vrbné part.
The first site is a tiny harbor for small river boats, and right next door is a man-made water channel for canoes, rafts and kayaks.

Přístav pro říční lodě asi není ve světě nic zvláštního. Na řece Vltavě (v horní polovině toku) jich však moc není.

Také tu je, na české poměry, technická rarita. Zvedací most. Nezkoumal jsem to, ale myslím si, že v Česku takových mostů mnoho není.

Máte to tam moc hezké, taky se tady vypravím k Moravě, máme tu jez s elektrárnou a zajímavé přístaviště

Moravu (řeku) jsem viděl akorát kousek v Hanušovicích, kousek v Mohelnici, v Olomouci a v Kroměříži. Odhaduji, že ten "tvůj kousek" bude ještě jižněji :-)
