Hi friends, I hope you are doing great 💕 yesterday I shared on my blog some beautiful pictures I took at the viewpoint of Maracay that is on the way to Ocumare de la Costa the destination to which we were going, it was the first time we were going so we did not know the road, we were following what the map indicated. We arrived at El Limon, Aragua State at about three in the afternoon, we stopped for a few minutes for a coffee while we checked the map and we contacted the inn where we would arrive.
We continued on our way and we already knew that the road ahead of us was mountainous so we were very alert because it was also raining and we were riding a motorcycle. As we began to climb the mountain we realized that we were crossing part of the Henri Pittier National Park, it rained almost all the way so I could not document much of the way there, but I can tell you that the road is super narrow and has many cliffs that have no guardrail so when traveling this road must be done at low speed and with great caution. We arrived at our destination Ocumare de la Costa after six in the afternoon, we stopped at the entrance of the town to take a picture for the memory and I realize that my phone is almost discharged 😫.
Then we headed towards the boardwalk to enjoy the last minutes of the sunset, the sun had already set but had left beautiful colors in shades of red, pink and purple, I am an eternal lover of sunsets, they will always cause a surprise effect on me. We took the opportunity to have some delicious fish empanadas by the beach for dinner before going to Las Palmas Inn to rest.
The next morning we got up very early to go to the beach in the town of Ocumare called El Playon, the morning was very cloudy as if it wanted to rain, so we took the opportunity to go early in case the day turned rainy to visit the beach before because we would only be there for one day and we had to make the most of it.
I found the beach very nice, the color of the water was spectacular and it is very wide to receive many tourists, although the waves were a little strong for my taste that I prefer to bathe in beaches with calm waves. They also have a very nice sign to take a picture for the memory with friends and family.
And guess what happened, there was a torrential downpour that made us go back to the lodge, as it was also very breezy and cold so we decided to go back. And consider staying a little longer to enjoy this coast which is very beautiful.
Hola amigos, espero que se encuentren super bien 💕 ayer les compartí en mi blog unas imágenes hermosas que tomé en el mirador de Maracay que queda camino a Ocumare de la Costa el destino a cual nos dirigíamos, era la primera vez que íbamos así que no conocíamos a la vía, íbamos siguiendo lo que nos indicaba el mapa. Llegamos a El Limón Estado Aragua a eso de las tres de la tarde, nos detuvimos unos minutos por un café mientras revisamos el mapa y nos poníamos en contacto con la posada a dónde llegaríamos.
Continuamos nuestro camino y ya sabíamos que la carretera que nos esperaba era de montaña así que estábamos muy alerta pues también estaba lloviendo y nosotros andamos en una motocicleta. Al comenzar a subir la montaña nos dimos cuenta que estábamos atravesado parte del parque nacional Henri Pittier, nos llovió casi todo el camino así que no pude documentar mucho del camino de ida, pero si les puedo decir que la carretera es súper angosta y tiene muchos precipicios que no tienen baranda de contención por lo que al transitar está carretera hay que hacerlo a baja velocidad y con mucha precaución. Llegamos a nuestro destino Ocumare de la Costa pasada las seis de la tarde, nos tomamos detuvimos en la entrada del pueblo para tomarnos una foto para el recuerdo y me doy cuenta que mi teléfono está casi descargado 😫.
Luego los dirigimos hacia el malecón para disfrutar un poco de los últimos minutos del atardecer ya el sol se había ocultado pero habían dejado unos colores hermosos en tonalidades, rojizas, rosa y morado, yo soy una eterna enamorada de los atardeceres siempre van a causar un efecto sorpresa en mí. Aprovechamos de cenar unas empanadas de pescado a orillas de la playa que estaban deliciosas antes de irnos a la posada Las Palmas a descansar.
La mañana siguiente nos levantamos muy temprano para ir a conocer la playa del pueblo de Ocumare llamada El Playón, la mañana estaba muy nublada como con ganas de llover, así que aprovechamos de ir temprano por si el día se tornaba lluvioso visitar la playa antes pues solo estarías un día y teníamos que aprovecharlo al máximo.
La playa me pareció muy bonita el color del agua estaba espectacular y es muy amplia para recibir muchos turistas, aunque el oleaje estaba algo fuerte para mí gusto que prefiero bañarme el playas con oleaje para tranquilo. También tienen un letrero muy bonito como para tomar una foto para el recuerdo con amigos y familiares.
Y adivinen que paso, cayó un torrencial aguacero que nos hizo devolvernos a la posada, pues también había mucha brisa y el frío era bastante así que decidimos regresar Y plantearnos quedarnos un poco más para poder disfrutar de esta costa que es muy hermosa.
