The Disney Monorail in from of the Tokyo Disneyland 5 star hotel.

  It is pretty hard to work out what to visit in Tokyo. It is such a big place and one of the most populated city's in the world.

We ended up with 4 days there as we had to fly out from Narita airport and wanted to pick up another parkrun after our little ski trip.

After a Google of Tokyo accommodation and parkruns we found Tokyo bay had the best option for us. It is so handy if you can find good place to stay within walking distance of parkrun course.

Tokyo Bay was also the home of Tokyo  Disneyland which meant we could also utilise a direct bus service instead of having to navigate the massive Tokyo train system.

Normally we probably wouldn't pick Disneyland as a place to visit but on this day we had a really late flight and there was a direct bus from Disneyland to the airport  so we thought  we would give it a go.  

The adjacent 5 star Disney hotel. Which might be worth the extra dollars if you wanted to maximise your time at the theme park.

Goofy was entering the crowds as soon as we walked in.

It was busy every where we went, even mid week.

Lots of the people visiting the park really dressed up to get into the spirit.

I was really surprised how popular this place was.

It looked like a decent workout paddling an Indian Canoe around Tom Sawyer Island.

We just opted for walking.

That looks absolutely lovely. was it super overpriced like the parks in USA?

It was about 8000 yen for a mid week day pass which is about 50 usd or 75 Aud not as bad as I was expecting.
