I’d like to think that the part of the world where each of us come from plays a role in some of values.
In my time, you wouldn’t find a child using such words in an African home. I mean I wouldn’t even dare raise my voice at my siblings because I knew it wasn’t allowed in my house.
I think what you did was right because if you had let Ben stay, your daughter would see his words to be okay and be like ‘ mommy didn’t say anything to Ben when he used the f word’. She might even think you’re being strict on her for no reason.
I know a mother wouldn’t train her kids in a bad way, you did what you had to do.
