This is so educative, all parents should read this. You did the right thing by sending Ben home. If you didn’t do that I am sure he will still use it and before you know it your children would also start using it cause they didn’t see you react. Thank you for sharing this

Thank you for your thoughtful comment. You are so right - my children would have gotten the wrong message. It was not my place to correct Ben and I did not.
I showed this article to my now teenage children and we had reminisced and discussed the topic. They also agreed that I did the right thing.
