Want to Fly Away

It was around 3.30 am when I was waiting for my train, it came and I got on and started my journey. 400 kilometers away from here. Almost a journey of more than eight hours. When we are traveling to our destination, such a long journey doesn't bother us, not even the hectic ones, the excitement is so wholesome that we don't get time to feel any boredom or anything else. Won't deny, that the return time contains a little bit of sadness as the good times are over and going back to the monotonous life once again.

"ᵂᵒʳᵈˢ ᵃⁿᵈ ᵖⁱᶜˢ ᵃʳᵉ ᵐⁱⁿᵉ, ᵘⁿˡᵉˢˢ ᴵ ˢʰᵒᵘᵗᵒᵘᵗ ʷʰᵉʳᵉ ᵗʰᵉʸ ᶜᵃᵐᵉ ᶠʳᵒᵐ!"

Every year, there are one or two major tours that give me wholesome experiences for the whole year to be alive. Actually, I believe in quality over quantity. When we travel to a new place, we shouldn’t just think of it like stepping in there and marking it as done. I feel like we gotta explore, its speciality, its people, their way of living, look for things that make this place worth visiting, explore them, and taste the foods that would remind us of this place over and over again.

Each and every time, before I travel to a new place, I spend a good amount of time researching about that place even before going. Part of my travel plans. This includes communication mediums, vehicles, routes, and fares. What that place offers and my preferences, food and its people and many more such things. For example, before my last visit to Cox's Bazar, the starting you read about, it was my first ever solo tour that I had to manage myself. I noted down everything on how to change three vehicles over the eight hours, including their route plans, fares, timing and so on. Hotel details and most importantly, healthy food options according to budget without compromising the quality. Alternative for all the plans, if one doesn’t work out then what should be my next move and so on.

If you are going with someone then comes who? Your friends? Or someone to whom you are a responsibility or that person is your responsibility. For the third case, things get a little more difficult as it's on you to manage everything. The second case is to explore and chill. I have gone through all the cases and realized/explored/experienced the best of the third case scenario for sure.

I have a friend who is living with the desire to travel to all the cities of our country. Right now he doesn’t have adequate money and the time required for that, the same goes in my case as well. We just pray and hope that it doesn’t happen that one day we will have enough money but not enough time and energy. That will be the disaster of time.
