Studio A24 has abandoned work on a prequel to a series of popular horror films. We don't know yet if it's temporary or permanent. For me, this is rather a temporary decision. Friday the 13th is a famous brand of horror movies. Horror films are not expensive, and well-known brands are more important than ever (people go to the cinema less and less often, unlike us or our parents, when tickets were cheaper and going to the cinema did not involve such difficulties). Even if they don't make much money, they would have to try very, very hard to screw up this project. So they probably want to make a movie out of it. Especially since the productions of the A-24 studio have been gaining popularity recently.

Studio A24 zrezygnowało z prac nad prequelem do serii popularnych horrorów. Póki co nie wiemy, czy to tymczasowe, czy na stałe. Jak dla mnie, to raczej tymczasowa decyzja. Friday 13th to znana marka horrorów. Horrory nie są drogie, a znane marki liczą się bardziej niż kiedykolwiek (ludzie coraz rzadziej chodzą do kina, w przeciwieństwie do nas, czy naszych rodziców, jak bilety były tańsze i wyjazd do kina nie wiązał się z takimi trudnościami). Nawet jeśli im się nie uda zarobić dużo, to musieliby się bardzo, bardzo postarać, by zepsuć ten projekt. Więc pewnie chcą zrobić z niego film. Tym bardziej, że produkcje studia A-24 ostatnio zyskują.
